Pros: Easy installation. My laptops recognized it right away.

Cons: ExpressCard was not able to communicate with any of my 1394A or 1394B cameras or disk drives.

Pros: Driver installed automatically, and the card is shaped in a way that I can still use my USB port above the expresscard slot. That is about all I can ask for.
Works like a dream.

Cons: Like all expresscards, the spot where the plastic end meets the housing is a little weak.
Be careful not to bump it into anything and you should b fine.

Other Thoughts: After having problems with expresscards made by other manufactures *cough*Belkin*cough*, I would definitely look into another StarTech
