froze me too
- Pros: great price, good physical specs, mouse works fine
- Cons: as with many users here, froze my laptop from a few seconds to total hard freeze as soon as it would try to read the photos from my camera, web support only has driver for Windows ME/98, no other drivers
- Other Thoughts: I am hopeful a replacement will resolve the issue. I called tech support but my phone battery died before I got to a live person.
worked in 2 out of 3 laptops
- Pros: Installed and worked perfectly in Dell 600 and Dell 610 laptops running XP sp3.
- Cons: Installed in HP 6100 laptop running XP sp3 but causes laptop to freeze up when a RC-601 USB port is used. Physical removal of the RC-601 brings the laptop back to life. Too bad, the HP 6100 really needs the USB2 interfaces.

Works to an extent.
- Pros: The card worked fine to open smaller files.
- Cons: Larger file transfers, such as pictures, would cause my computer to freeze. This was not an issue through the usb 1.1 port already on the computer. I updated my computers drivers to no avail. I didn't have a chance to try the card in another computer, but it just didn't work for me.
- Other Thoughts: Usually happy with Rosewill products. Typically not expensive and they works. Oh well.
