We can provide you with simple tech support to step-by-step instructions. Unlike USB, Firewire might require additional setup or configuration in the application in order to make it import/export data. Since this is your second card, it is likely that it was not defective. We could of possibly made this card work for you with some simple troubleshooting.

Pros: Plugged it in and worked out of the box with Win7. No special drivers needed.

Cons: The card is a little loose but shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't bump it around much. This sounds like a problem with other cards as well. I've read other reviews on different products with the same issue.

Pros: NONE

Cons: Dead on arrival. The absolute worst I've seen. I plugged it into my laptop and nothing happened. I asked a friend to try it in his laptop and again, nothing.
