Pros: Trustworthy reliable media. I trust Sony media 100%

Cons: Price is not as cheap as other brands but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Never go for the cheapest price go with reliable media. Still half the cost of buying factory Dell tapes. I use this with our Dell 124T autoloader LTO4 tape backup drive and Symantec Backup Exec. We have 15 cartridges in the autoloader and never had an issue. Sony is a good alternative to buying premium Dell tapes that cost almost twice as much and the media has been reliable. I average 2 tapes per week in our backup cycle.

Pros: As of right now (July 2009) this is the best deal. Sony is usually a good solid company for storage devices. My friend uses these drives, and I like how they operate.

Cons: none, I only had my friend's drives for about a week when I barrow it for the digital information stored on it, and it didn't contain anything that would break any copyright laws.

Other Thoughts: To last poster: Please don't give people incorrect information. I'm adding this item to my wish list, I have almost enough for the reader then I'll buy these tapes. I'm planning to get like 2-4 of these in the next coming month (as long as I don't get fired from current job)
