Pros: Popped it in... worked like a charm.

Cons: It's... well... it's a replacement battery.
I suppose if you make sure you have the right part number there shouldn't be any cons.

Pros: It works like it should & holds a good long charge.

Cons: It will eventually die someday.

Other Thoughts: Bought this as a spare for my battery backup when battery dies in a year or so.

Pros: Direct replacement for my APC BackUPS ES 500 and is an official APC product. Packaging has instructions for FREE battery recycling including shipping costs (U.S. and Canada only)!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My battery backup lasted over three years until it made a steady beep while powered on (signaling that my battery had reached its lifespan). The new battery I bought from newegg.com took care of that!

Pros: Direct replacement for dead UPS battery, cheaper than buying a whole new unit.

Cons: Nothing significant.

Other Thoughts: Easy to swap out, works like a champ thus far. Hopefully it'll last as long as it's supposed to last, but I won't find that out for another couple years I hope!

Pros: Good Price ! Compatible with my old APC UPS. Charged it up and it works. Cheaper than the replacement battery offered by the manufacturer

Other Thoughts: Will see how many years it lasts, supposed to last 3 to 4 years depending on usage.

Pros: It is what it is, does what it does, and is easy enough to swap out. No magic, no tweaking, just a "simple" battery replacement

Cons: Wish it were cheaper, but I have upgraded to higher end units for the PCs and this works well for the TV/printer/cable modem/router in case I get a glitch

Other Thoughts: If you have a unit that needs this as a new battery, get it. Cheaper than buying a whole new unit and if you have a local Staples store, you can have them environmentally correctly recycle your old battery. I really wish I had done this a few years ago when the battery died, as I hate having a minor power surge that takes and resets my internet access on me. Now I have them protected.

Pros: I'd been holding on to my APC UPS for years even though the battery had given up the ghost. I came across this on newegg and BAM, my UPS is back in business! I've had this for a while now and if I remember correctly, they even sent a box to return the old battery!

Cons: None.

Pros: Easy to replace and give old UPSs new life when there is no real reason to upgrade to a newer better UPS.

Cons: No included battery return information - but it is available on APCs website and it is actually free.

Other Thoughts: Check around your local area for local battery recycling. A lot of places will take them for free and that is easier than going through all the shipping stuff with APC later on.

Pros: Exact OEM replacement.

Cons: None I can conclude.

Other Thoughts: APC used to include a pre-paid return shipping label. The last few I ordered don't include this pre-paid label but simply a return address or to properly dispose of the battery at a local recycling facility. However, being a lead-acid battery, it's possible to find a local facility that will pay you to take these off your hands and recycle them.

I've replaced several of these for several customers and I've had no issues with any of them since the replacement. The original's lasted 4-5 years before they start indicating they need replaced.
