Rating: 4/5so far so good?
Pros: price, front bezel controls and displays. "business edition" s/w not bad.
Cons: originally picked out SWT2 but they went into buck mode with my home voltage at 123, decreasing the output outlets to 108. these SWT4 aren't. USB cable short.
Other Thoughts: first use of cyberpower. now have 2 of these. will report back if they act up. these are replacing one liebert rack 1440va unit that *only?* lasted 8 years. also, these are heavy units. be prepared.

Rating: 3/5No outside of warranty repair
Pros: Great UPS, great protection. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Cons: Cyberpower has no outside of warranty repair.
Other Thoughts: When the unit has other than a battery replacement or fuse issue, you need to replace the entire unit. Can't send it back for repair unless you know how to repair it yourself.

Rating: 3/5UPS seems OK, but the software...
Pros: The UPS arrived in good shap[e and is running fine. The batteries were fresh and nearly fully charged. This is good because it would indicate the uint was not sitting a long time with no power (which would kill the battery life and reliability). I looked at the output on a scope and it appears clean. I have not load tested the unit yet. It seems prety quiet when supporting the load at about 45% capacity.
Cons: For the price, the Power Panel software is minimal garbage at best. The pro version does not run on Vista 32/64. The software service used by the tool crashes if the PC goes into standby. It will not restart until the machine is rebooted. This may not be an issue if you never use stanby or power saving features.
Would have given 4 eggs if the software was not junk. Five with good software and a better price point.
Vista 64 bit, Intel i7 CPU, ASUS P6T MOBO.
Other Thoughts: This is my first experience with CyberPower. I have many years with APC, Powerware, and MGE. So far, I am not impressed with the software. I sure hope the UPS proves to be more reliable or this will be my last experience with CyberPower. I await Cyberpower's response to my software issue... I will update this if If there is a satisfactory resolution.
For the money (this is not a low cost small ups) the overall system should be more 'high end', including the software.

Rating: 5/5Protects my high def workstation
Pros: I have a quad core Xeon with 9 internal HDDs and a 24” CRT plugged into this and the power panel plus puts the load at 38% capacity. When I feel the need to add another quad core to the system I won’t have to worry about the load being too much. My 850 Enermax watt power supply would not support any UPS that was simulated sine wave, so the true sine wave output was a must. This is just the kind of UPS I need for peace of mind about my systems safety.
Cons: It’s heavy, about 60lbs, but who would move the kind of system this is plugged into anyway.
Other Thoughts: I think this would be overkill for almost anyone except for people with expensive workstations that they must protect, but when you’re spending $5000 + on a computer you need a UPS you can depend on and this is it!
