5 out of 5 eggsGreat product, especially considering the price.

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Has worked for 4.5 years of almost continual use for my server, through multiple power outages
It beeps when power goes down, and you can mute it if you dislike that feature
Informative, easy to use user interface

Cons: The power button is perhaps to prominently located. The uninitiated may be tempted to press it.

5 out of 5 eggsThree years running

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Great value! This has been running non-stop to power an i5 500W system with two 24" LCD's for three years now. Runtime is great, although I am far from fully loading this. Runtime is easily still 30+ minutes. The tray utility is lightweight (consuming only 1.5MB or so of memory in Win7), and unobtrusive... just enough info and configuration for desktop use.

Cons: None! Though the LCD is bright, it can be turned off (THANK YOU!)

Other Thoughts: I was leery about the brand, but will now recommend without hesitation.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks with not too much load

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Worked for 4 years

Cons: Broken after 4 years of use

Other Thoughts: We had two such units. The one was little loaded, still working fine, the one was loaded just 60% of max load ceased working properly. It cuts the output power and makes a continuous beep.

5 out of 5 eggsRecommended by Vgbootcamp on twitch. Works great!

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: -It does its job. Provides pretty good backup (gave me about 45 minutes on my setup), and protects against surges.
-The LCD provides good vital info including how much load there is, and the battery remaining.
-Its compact size provides for easy placement.

Cons: -None really, its done its job well.

Other Thoughts: Would definitely buy this again since it has proven to be as reliable for me as it has been for all the other smashers that use it as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Backup UPS

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Great sim wave unit. Best for general electronics backup. Probably shouldn't use on active power factor correction desktops. Display shows all the most important information. Wish the power button wasn't as bright. Size and weight typical for 1350 class unit.

As for the backup times, I have two units:

Unit 1 has a 26 inch HP monitor and a 4 bay RAID server. 74 minutes reserve.

Unit 2 has a Motorola cable modem, Asus wireless router, DTV Genie DVR, DTV wireless bridge, and two other DTV items that need power. 67 minutes reserve.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I would buy again. Probably will for camera server and POE switch.

1 out of 5 eggsUnsatisfied by Claim Process

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Works when it works. I like the LCD where I can see the load and voltage.

Cons: UPS is dead. It provides no output current and won't take any charge.
I sent an email to cyberpower on the 24th, today is the 30th and no body has replied back.

I will change this review once somebody contacts me. Please do so ASAP.

Other Thoughts: CyberPower should have an online form for claims. We are in the year 2015. Requesting customers to leave a voice message or email with details for claim is RIDICULOUS. How do I know you got my message???

Create a form that issues a Ticket# that can later be tracked. DON'T BE CHEAP.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Been running now for almost 3 and a half years without any problems. Original battery.

Power drops for a few seconds every now and then where I live, this unit has never let me down. (avg about once a week)

Cons: Sometimes I wish I could lock the LCD readout on, instead of letting it fade off after about a minute. But not a real issue, only annoying when I'm trying to watch the real time watts usage when under load.

Other Thoughts: It's very heavy ;)

4 out of 5 eggsBad Packing Problem

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Price was great
Worked great!
It can really take a beating...

Cons: Poor packing, I have been a New Egg customer for over nine years and have never had bad packing for a product til now. The box was over-sized (3-6 inches all sides) with only some brown paper on the left side (no bubble wrap or peanuts). The UPS would slide around the inside the box like crazy when I picked it up. The box was crushed on the bottom right corner. The corner was crushed in almost three inches. Opened the box and the UPS box was also crushed in almost 2 1/2 inches. Opened the UPS box and the foam protection around the bottom back of the UPS was totally broken across.

Other Thoughts: I can not believe it still works after that kind of fall and damage. Glad I purchased the 2yr extended warranty just in-case this thing starts messing up later on.

Only regret was not getting the 1500va. This one runs at 33% load with my system running which is good, but once i start playing Witcher 3 it jumps up pass 55% load.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat value! 6 years of weathering storms together, then new battery, back in business

This review is from: CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series CP1350AVRLCD UPS

Pros: Just worked! Price was great, I never had to think about it. If you are using an advanced Power Factor Correction power supply you need to get a pure sine wave UPS, even the AVR function will output a stepped approximation to a sine wave and that is not close enough. I live in an exurban area with lots of small surges and outages that range from 2 seconds to days. This beast just worked, I set it up and never had to think about it ever again. I am OK with computers, I can build a system and properly network this stuff, configure a bios and a RAID, and mess with the registry a bit, but if I am thinking about this technology I am not doing my work. My next UPS will be a Cyberpower with PFC to support my new video editing beast of a PC.

Cons: After over 6 years of service and many outages that used the batteries beyond any endurance I had the right to dream of, the batteries leaked and the smell was horrific. Cleaned out the unit, replaced batteries, now it's business as usual again. Lesson learned: replace the batteries at a reasonable interval (Perhaps 3 years 4 if you want to be cheap) especially if the batteries get used, even quarterly.

Other Thoughts: I once needed customer service from Cyberpower. They went above and beyond. My next UPS with be a Cyberpower with PFC to support a video editing rig

I get ticked when reviewers use a PFC power supply and then moan that this unit does not support it. It is not designed to!!! If you know enough to review the power supply or the UPS, you should know that.
