The CyberPower CP1350PFCLCD Adaptive Sinewave uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with pure sine wave safeguards computer systems that use conventional and Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) power supplies. Its automatic voltage regulation (AVR) topology delivers clean and consistent AC power. The patented GreenPower UPS advanced circuitry reduces UPS energy costs by up to 75% compared to competitive models.

CyberPower’s Adaptive Sinewave UPS with pure sine wave is the first to address the critical compatibility issues of non-Sinewave UPS products working with computing systems using Active PFC power supplies (ENERGY STAR 5.0 compliant). CyberPower’s innovative Adaptive Sinewave UPS is an affordable solution that ensures equipment utilizing Active PFC power supplies do not unexpectedly shutdown or experience harmful stress when switching from AC power to UPS battery power.

The CP1350PFCLCD has a capacity of 1350VA/810Watts, (10) NEMA 5-15R receptacles and (2) maintenance-free, user-replaceable 12V/7Ah batteries. The intelligent multi-function LCD panel displays real-time UPS vitals for ease of control. Connectivity via (1) HID USB and (1) DB9 serial ports. Surge Protection for RJ11/RJ45 & coax. Two 5Vdc USB 2.0 charging ports for portable devices. PowerPanel Personal Edition UPS Management software, a standard Three-Year Warranty and a $425,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee are included.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Value - 3 yr battery

Pros: affordable. Nice LCD. Will power on even if power is out.

Cons: When the battery is dead the entire UPS is useless. This is "by Design" according to Cyber Power but extremely annoying when you need your equipment to keep running. I would expect that UPS to continue operating as a surge protector even is the battery is dead.

Other Thoughts: Battery lasted 3 years, which seems to be normal. I will say that this particular unit experience 238 power events in normal use before giving up the ghost. So all in all I am happy. It looks like replacement batteries are easily available. Although I find replacement batteries seem to generally last only 2 years.

3 out of 5 eggsCheck it regularly

Pros: Support for PFC supplies.
Fair amount of power for the price.
Three year warranty.
Two USB charger ports on front.
Power Panel professional edition is awesome for remote admin.

Cons: Died a silent death.

Other Thoughts: Bought two of these on sale. Bought almost triple the capacity that I needed (one unit had 22 min runtime and the other had 45 when power was lost). The one that died gave no indication that anything was wrong. Power glitched and it showed a F2 (overload) fault code and the alarm came on. The other one acted normally. Thinking it was a glitch I restarted it at did a self test. It faulted again with an overload. Disconnected all loads and unplugged it from the outlet and it faulted again showing overload. Pulled the batteries out of caution. The one that died had about a 250 watt load on it. Disappointed but for the price point I cannot really expect much since it is about the lowest cost supply that supports PFC.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent UPS.

Pros: Keeps my desktop PC + all accessories powered on through thick and thin. Had no trouble with device, aside from one instance (see Other Thoughts). Excellent customer service.

Cons: Aside from a defective UPS the first time around, none.

Other Thoughts: The first UPS I received was defective & stopped functioning approximately two months after first use. Friends at the house described the failure as a series of beeps, followed by a loud bang, then electronic smoke. Subsequent attempts to power on the device resulted in a continuous beep, plus an error code that I can not recall, nor am I able to locate it in my file. However, the representative that helped me was a great asset to their company, and I had a replacement UPS as fast as the mail could carry it.

4 out of 5 eggsUpdate to previous review

Pros: See first review

Cons: See first review

Other Thoughts: Having paid 1/3rd the cost of this unit to USPS to send it back to CyberPower for RMA (UPS and FedEx were more expensive), I received the replacement unit yesterday after about two and a half weeks after CyberPower received my unit. It must have been very defective as they sent me a completely new unit, you can tell by the smell. I fully drained the battery and let it recharge overnight, and it was back to 100% after about 10 hours.

1 out of 5 eggsUpdate: 5th, and last, CyberPower UPS

Pros: See previous review.

Cons: Having contacted CyberPower and learning the slow charging issue I noted on my previous review is due to a faulty charger (~15% battery power after 1 month of uninterrupted AC power), they issued an RMA number. They do not offer an advance RMA option. So, considering that this UPS powers and protects my entertainment system, wireless router, and broadband modem, I must now order another UPS before I can pay in excess of $50 to return their defective unit for replacement. The reason I must purchase another UPS is due to their stated typical turnaround time, which is FOUR WEEKS.

Other Thoughts: Bought 5 CyberPower units here on Newegg over the years, and this one will be my last. CyberPower feel free to respond, the technical support employee I had contact with is C. Schneider.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding CyberPower's CP1350PFCLCD. We are sorry that you had a bad experience with one of the UPS units you purchased. CyberPower does offer an industry leading 3-Year Warranty on all of our UPS products, which includes the batteries. Unfortunately we are not able to pay for the freight to return defective product for repair. But, we do pay the freight to ship the repaired product back.

4 out of 5 eggsGood except for USB charging

Pros: This UPS provides very even power and has plenty of display options (time remaining, load, etc.). There are also a couple of outlets that allow for larger plugs without blocking neighbors (not all are in a tight row).

Cons: The USB charging is weak. There are two USB ports in the front of the UPS, but you an only use one at a time. In addition, they are not very high power -- it can take all day to charge an iPad.

Other Thoughts: I love this UPS, and I've bought a few of them to cover both my computer equipment and to provide cleaner power to my AV equipment. I used to mysteriously have all of my external drive enclosures fail. I assumed that it was because of cruddy quality control on those parts, but since getting this UPS I've not had a single problem with any of my electronics.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent UPS

Pros: Great VoltAmps and Wattage levels for a unit in this price range.

True sine wave output, fully compatible with Active-PFC PSUs, no worries about damaging expensive power supplies or other PC components.

Easy-to-read LCD display cycles through all pertinent information displays.

Front-panel controls are clearly labeled and easy to decipher, even for power novices.

Unit is very easy to install, should take even a beginner 45 minutes or less.

PC utility is easy to install and configure, provides decent options for cutover and shutdown.

Also protects coax and Ethernet connections.

Both the battery-protected and surge protected zones have room for "wall wart" power supplies.

Separate USB outlets for charging are a nice addition.

Dedicated circuit breaker reset.

AC wiring fault LED indicator to warn of building wiring issues.

Coax, USB A to B and RJ-11 cables included.

Win7/Win8 gadget for the PC desktop displays vital data at-a-glance.

Cons: PC utility is good, but would be even better with true event logging (not just the last occurrence.) Also, the cutover and shutdown criteria should be fully user customizable (within limits,) not just the preset figures on the dropdowns.

Included RJ-11 cable is virtually useless for a great deal of users these days, a Cat6 Ethernet cable would be a much better substitution (or addition.)

Other Thoughts: So far, I couldn't be happier with this unit, it's so nice not to have to worry about power issues or outages any longer.

CyberPower has made this device about as easy to install as it could be, I can't think of anything they could do to make it any easier.

The PC utility is very handy, I just wish it was a little more customizable, but not worth deducting an Egg.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice UPC with huge capacity.

Pros: 10 Outlets
Lot of capacity
Built Quality
Tons of features

Cons: The software looks must be improved, it looks like a windows XP era software's UI

Other Thoughts: This UPS was purchased to use it on a high end gaming PC a printer and a 5.1 Sound System, all together don't go over 200W load, so if you are planing to use it on a similar set up you don't need to buy the 810 W go lower, you will save a few bucks.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat UPS!

Pros: I use these UPS because metropolitan areas have horrible power issues. After going through 2 PSUs within 6 months I decided to cave in and pick up an UPS. Boy I am glad I did! I also have CyberPowers 900W model for my gaming PC and it is also rock solid. I love these things for my PSUs and computers are now protected and do not receive the crazy power outs and brown outs and surges they used to get. My computer parts and PSUs are lasting longer than ever now! I highly recommend a nice UPS system (APCs I hear are good too, but been using CyberPower since my first one which is still kicking solid!) to anyone who has a nice computer they want to protect and last a long time.

Cons: None at all. It is a nice UPS and I have 2 other CyberPower UPS units which are also great units.

Other Thoughts: I am using this system on a Linux Mint build and I have not installed the software for Linux Mint actually has power controls for loss of power. I do use the CyberPower software on my windows system and I like how the interface is simple, easy to use, and can configure what you need on it.

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: Quiet, easy setup and plenty of space on back panel. Like the slim design to fit next to other equipment with ease.

Cons: Nothing to report so far.

Other Thoughts: Lower cost comparied to APC which I have always bought in past. Can use generic batteries when I'm done and it gives me plenty of runtime when power is out. Like I can customize how the alarm goes off or not as I typically know when the power is out..
