4 out of 5 eggsNice little UPS

Pros: Small size, all outlets on battery.

Cons: Outlets are close together.

Other Thoughts: I got this for my cable modem, router, etc, etc to live off of, and along with a PowerSquid (since everything has a big brick), this going to work out great. Threw everything on a kill-a-watt to be sure and yeah, 300W will cover me just fine :)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent UPS

Pros: 5 outlets with battery backup. Excellent battery time when power lost. I can get 15 minutes with my pc. Plenty of extra surge protected outlets.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Already paid for itself today due to a major storm in the area. I keep my pc, amp and hd tv hooked up. The power cut out almost 6 times in less than 30 minutes. My components didn't miss a beat. Excellent UPS for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works very well

Pros: I own the DP1000, and have bought the DP400 and DP600 for friends, and they have all worked as expected. The DP600 has performed well for many months with no problems.

Cons: No separation between battery and surge protected sockets

Other Thoughts: Get a power meter so you have an idea of the power usage of your computer. The P3 Kill A Watt is a great tool for this.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Idea but Under the Skin

Pros: Don't have enough experience to say but it seems like in 35 dollars is a reasonable item than buying a battery for 25 dollars. I did test it work for couple of minutes and it did work. Read my other thoughts and you will know.

Cons: Has less outlets and you will know why from my other thoughts. One has to press the button hard to make it work, I thought I got a DOA.

Other Thoughts: Other UPSes have a relay which kicks the battery in and has transformer to do part of the job. This design is different and there is no direct outlet, all are via the circuit, hence they reduced the components count and there is no tranformer so it is light. I may open again and take a video it was late in the night when I opened it.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the trick

Pros: Successive beeping to let you know when power is running out. Never had an issue keeping on my PC during a power outage, which started to happen quite often when I was having issues with some fuses. Two outlets.

Cons: Wish it had more life to it.

Other Thoughts: Good for the money. Really does it's job as it should.

2 out of 5 eggsMeh UPS

Pros: The only UPS I could find with receptacles on the end. It is thin enough to go behind my wall mount TV so there are no visible cords. It keeps the TV on during outages. See cons though.

Cons: Doesn't really do it's job. The DVR connected reboots during power outages. The UPS simply doesn't transfer fast enough. I tried an APC unit (which doesn't fit behind the TV), it work just fine.

4 out of 5 eggsSinple and suitable

Pros: Does the job to keep a PC stable through the minor disruptions and give you time to shut down for a major outage.

Cons: No smarts or interconnection capability for auto shut down if unattended.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy using this on my Sat. HD DVR

Pros: I use this for my DirecTV HR21 with a Antec-MX1/WD Caviar eSata external. Power went out for an hour recently, and the HR21/MX-1 stayed on the whole time.

Cons: Only two outlets (but it's all I need).
