This review is from: Eaton 3S UPS 750 VA
Pros: We use these Eaton 3S models as the replacements to the Powerware 3105 where I work (I'm an "IT Technician" at my company, which really means I'm Help Desk/PC Technician/System Administrator/Network Administrator) and I use one to protect my work Precision T1650. We also use them for our AutoCAD users' workstations, and they perform well in that environment. I liked them so much I purchased one for home as well due to heavy power outages in my area due to old trees taking out the lines on a regular basis in storms. Unlike the 3105, these naturally interface with Windows 7 and 8 without any additional software (but you can install it if you want) and I have mine set to hibernate my machine in case of a power outage. The 750VA handles the power output of both my work and desktop machines fine and provides more than enough power to allow me to gracefully power down. They're also much slimmer and lighter than the 3105 that came before it.
Cons: USB cable length is a tad shorter than I'd like, but that gripe primarily applies to user workstations that I cover at work where facilities put in rather IT unfriendly desks. It's long enough for where I tend to place it at my own desk both at work and home.
