I really liked the menu system in this calculator. It displays which variables you need to account for. With the texas instruments calculators you do not get the option to see which variables you need so you are sort of left in the dark. - The calculator has an enormous amount of features and hundreds of built in formulas that you can select through its menu system. If you still cannot find a formula you can easily program one into the calculator as well (again you cannot do this with the Texas Instruments versions). - Instant or near instant calculation time for problems I work out Cons: - Takes two watch batteries. This is minor hinder compared to the benefits. - Screen is poor resolution. The only calculator I have seen with amazing resolution would the the Texas Instruments N-Spire CAS Other Thoughts: Highly professional appeal. I got a nice fake leather case and an extremely detailed paper instruction manual with the calculator. The calculator that was shipped to me is the newer version than what newegg displays in their picture (it has a brushed stainless steel faceplate (not the gold and black)). I paid $65 and free 3 day shipping. That is an amazing price. A mazon had used calculators for $80 with shipping so to get a new calculator and the new updated version for $15 cheaper is pretty nice. Also, you can use RPN data entry OR algebraic data entry like with the Texas Instruments calculators 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
