3 out of 5 eggsNOT Air

Pros: Contains 100% R-134a (1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane), which is a refrigerant approved for air conditioners. It's quite expensive, but is not considered an ozone-depletion hazard.

Cons: I have a can of duster that's several years old. Even though it's approved, I use it VERY sparingly. Please do the same, as this class of compounds can have small effects that add up.

One short burst should be plenty. Using it until the can freezes is wasteful and may be environmentally unsafe.

Fortunately the price makes most of us careful--except when someone else pays for it! So even if you hate your boss, take it easy on this stuff!

Other Thoughts: To the reviewer complaining about price:

This is NOT compressed air. The description says it is R-134a. If you are going to post a review, you ought to get your facts right! All you need to do is find the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), which the manufacturer must provide on request. Google Fellowes 99790_MSDS.pdf. It's a good idea to do this any time you will be using a chemical product.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best can duster I have ever used

Pros: This is the only brand of canned duster I will use. It is worth the extra cost. This product is excellent.

Cons: Expensive, but worth it.

Other Thoughts: I usually get a few cans of this. They do freeze up, so while one can(or a few cans) are unthawing, I use another can. You can completely empty these cans, not like other brands of duster cans. The other brands either lose pressure right away or they don't empty all the way.
