After 10+ years in the classroom the foam is still comfortable, and the hinges are good. Cons: When we purchased these in the late nineties, the adjustable arms used a plastic lever that often broke its small hook rendering the arm height adjustment useless. This should be a non-issue for most as the arms were constantly adjusted by different students - an individual would set the arm height and leave it alone. Other Thoughts: We had over 60 of these in our IT classrooms. We replaced with a different "Ergonomic" (and expensive) chair only because of the aesthetic damage done by classroom use. The replacement chairs were not as comfortable, and didn't rock like a rocking chair. The HONs let me rock all day without damaging the hinges.
