3 out of 5 eggsNice Chair but not top of the line

Pros: Very comfortable. Feels sturdy and looks nice. I like the padded arms but they could be a little more padded.

Cons: The padded arms are nice but there is not enough padding to support your elbows. If you sit at the computer for a long time, you may tend to lean on the arms with your elbows. After a while you will still have sore elbows but not as much without padding. The chair leans a litte bit so you have to turn the base to get it in the correct postion that you feel comfortable in. After owning this chair for more than a year the Gas lift started failing. It won't stay up. At first it would drop gradually and now it just won't stay up. I called Boss to get a warranty part for it because it is supposed to be covered for 6 years. I am waiting for a response from them about getting the gas lift part under warranty. I will post back if I can to let you know how it goes.

Other Thoughts: It is a great chair for the money but there are other models out there that may be better quality. For the most part I am satisfied except for the fact that the gas lift does not stay up anymore. If they replace it under the warranty I will be a little happier and may have given 4 eggs instead of 3.

4 out of 5 eggsgood deal

Pros: This chair is comfortable, with good lumbar support, good upper back support, good thigh support, it's easy to clean, looks great, is not overly heavy, and was easy to put together. The price is reasonable for all this.

Cons: There's a tag on the chair warning you not to lean back and put your feet up on your desk. But doesn't everyone do that?

Other Thoughts: I don't expect chairs in this price range to last forever. I've been through several. But this is the best one yet.

I'm a vegetarian and did not want leather. This has a comfy synthetic material.

3 out of 5 eggsAbout so, so

Pros: It fits me well and is good on my back, which is the main reason I decided to get a new chair. I am 5'8". There is very acceptable padding. I am very comfortable when I sit, but havn't used it for extended periods of time yet. It was basically what I expected after reading other reviews.

Cons: The reason I gave this 3 stars for my first impression is the simple fact at how annoying it was to assemble and that the screw cover caps did not fit. I assembled it by myself, but it would be nice to have an extra person to connect the back. The screws were bigger than the holes on the arm rests. I had to literally slam them into the holes with a hammer to even get them in. There was barely any screw showing through the other end which made it difficult to line up the holes to screw into. Once assembly was complete, I went to put the screw covers on just to find out that they were no where near fitting in the holes. This was very annoying. There is no way of even banging them into the holes either without risking damage to the finish. On arrival, there was also some scratches on the arm rest. Not a big deal really.

Other Thoughts: Shipping was fast. The arm rests do seem like they will starts to supress fairly quickly. There isn't much to them. I got it for $150, but have seen others get it for $130. It definately isn't worth either of those prices, especially when the company fails at making the assembly easy and possible (screw caps). Others have mention a strong odor which is not something I have experienced. It only smells when I put my directly near it. It doesn't tilt as much as I expected it would.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible build quality

Pros: Pretty comfy when you first get it, It seems like a legit chair.

Cons: I'm about 5'8" and 170lbs, I'm not a very heavy guy. But this chair broke under regular use within a month, I was very dissappointed because this chair had a decent rating on newegg. The first problem I had was that the chair would squeak ridiculously loud, then the mechanism that raises and lowers the chair stopped working, after awhile the chair would start sinking and still does once in awhile, then one of the wheels broke... I'm never going to buy another one of these again and I feel like I wasted my money on this product.

Other Thoughts: Save your money and spend it on a QUALITY chair.

4 out of 5 eggsComfy but be ready for assembly annoyances

Pros: Very comfortable chair, lots of padding and great texture to the material. Seems very sturdy, and the 6 year warranty is a big plus (can't remember ever owning an office chair that lasted half that long). Fiancee and I both appreciate the quality. While the back support is very good and comfortable, don't expect it to extend to a headrest; I'm just under 6' and it's well under my head. Fiancee enjoys it at 5'4" though.

Cons: The assembly is indeed quite tedious. Some of the screw holes are extremely tight, I was only able to get one of them in partially in finally assembly. Then again, I suppose that means they're less likely to come loose over time?

As the actual holes for the screws to go into are recessed within the fabric, it's also extremely difficult to see them when you're piecing the thing together, and you end up trying to push the screw into the fabric of the chair.

Overall nothing that can't be overcome, but really tedious. Took over an hour for twelve lousy screws. Wow. Wouldn't stop me from buying it though.

Other Thoughts: Manufacturer specifies that it's not recommended for folks over 240 lbs. Not an issue for me but you'd think that would be in the product description. So, warning for the bigger folks out there.

Haven't had it long enough yet to evaluate how it'll hold up over time, but I admit it feels extremely sturdy and durable.

4 out of 5 eggsGood chair

Pros: This chair is super comfy.
Padding is good.
I'm 6'1 and i'm very comfortable in it.
Armrests are good.
Leaning back is easy.
Lumbar support is amazing.

Cons: The assembly isn't terrible, it's just the fact the way they package it. They ship it with the screws in the chair already, so you have to remove them then assemble the chair. Also I didn't receive any end caps to cover the screws. All in all the assembly wasn't terrible just need a screwdriver, do not use a power drill as you will just strip screws that way.

Other Thoughts: This chair is a great price, Looks great and very comfortable.

5 out of 5 eggsComfortable

Pros: This chair is amazingly comfortable, and really cheap for it's quality. Got it on sale for an incredible price, and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I was starting to have some back pain after sitting in my old chair for a while, got this one and the pain instantly went away.

Cons: A little hard to put together, but nothing worse than what Ikea would throw at you.

Other Thoughts: Great chair, comfortable, looks great.

3 out of 5 eggsNice chair but my but

Pros: Sturdy, quality parts, nice looking, fairly easy to assemble, very soft padding.

Cons: My Behind hurts after 2 or 3 hours

Other Thoughts: I really need to add I am a 240lbs , 6' 2" man. I bought from reading reviews. And thought I was good to replace an old chair that sat like a board. Well the good news is I have a better chair. The bad news it gets uncomfortable on my rump after 2 or 3 hours. The back is comfortable. If you are a big man and have a soft behind this might not be the one for you. Having said that if you are under 200 lbs and 6 foot it might be just fine . It is very sleak and softly padded and well made. It is so hard for big men to find a chair. I hope I have helped someone else. Over all I love the chair but take 2 eggs for my softer discomfort. other than that I give it 5 eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the price!

Pros: - Relatively easy assembly.
- Durable.
- Comfortable.
- Affordable.

Cons: - Sometimes it feels like it's tilting a tad to one side (not significant enough to be a bother, but it is noticeable).

Other Thoughts: My roommate and I both ordered one of these chairs.

I assembled mine in 30 minutes without the instructions using a standard phillips screw driver.

He was a bit over-eager, he used his powerdrill to try to put the dozen or so screws in and ran into some frustrating difficulties with the leather catching the screws (I think using a drill for this job is just asking for trouble.)

We're both big guys ~250 lbs. The chair feels strong despite having plastic armrests. Even when fully reclined, we aren't worried we might break them.

1 out of 5 eggsIt hurt a piece of my soul to put it together

Pros: Comfy, looks good once assembled, good back support. If you can make it to part where you actually get to sit in the thing.

Cons: I have bought a lot of build it your self furniture over the years, and this by far was the hardest assembly I have ever done. Boy was I frustrated with this thing, and I have a lot of patience.

The screw holes don't line up exactly, and the holes are also so cheaply installed and finicky, that if the screw doesn't go in 100% straight, it just gets jammed. Compounded with this, the holes are badly obstructed by the leather, I actually had to cut out bigger holes. Having the screws already in the holes, was just a pain as well, as you have to take them out before use. I might have been looking around for them like a dummy too if I hadn't already known from reading reviews.

All that makes the whole process a pain in between the legs. I also couldn't do it by myself, and had to get my girlfriend to help hold the thing together while I worked on it. After 2 hours of sheer mental pain, and a bloody finger I eventually managed to get the thing together.

Other Thoughts: It took the help of my loving girlfriend, the patience of a saint, and a high powered drill with a screwdriver bit to get it togethor. I wound up completely stripping one of the screws, and as I write this it is still only half way in. I just gave up and called it sturdy enough. If it didn't take so much out of me, I would just return the whole thing.

If you want to avoid a argument with your girlfriend, 2 hours of your life lost to being completely frustrated, and wanting to throw this chair out of your window, then I highly recommend not purchasing. Go go cheap production line junk!

P.S. I never post reviews, even though I know I should. I was that compelled.
