3 out of 5 eggsNot as good as it looked

Pros: Easy to install and fairly inexpensive. comes with a fill stick in case you scratch it, so that was nice.

Cons: Probably for the same few cents spent on the fill stick it could have come with some sort of simple backer to keep my mouse from sliding off the back of it. That might sound silly, but i use a mouse that glides very easily, thus when i close it, my mouse sometimes falls out the back of the thing. Also, the lack of a firm locking drawer glide gets annoying when im really gettinging into a game and I end up with my hands and peripherals under the desk trying not to lose focus because the tray slide back.

Other Thoughts: I suppose I get what i pay for, but i would have prefered a cheaper glide (a roller wheel instead of the bearing glides) because it would have at least locked, and with the money saved on the cheaper glides, I could have gotten a simple backer on the tray to keep my mouse from sliding off. Just food for thought. I engineer hotel furniture for a living, so maybe I'm too critical, but for me: 2 forethought issues; 2 eggs lost.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Drawer

Pros: Good Quality

Cons: wasn't free

Other Thoughts: I needed a keyboard drawer for someone who uses one of those ergonomic keyboards. Most of the molded plastic drawers were not deep enough to accommodate one, so I opted for the wooden one.

For starters, I ordered it just regular (no rush processing or expedited shipping) and It arrived about 90 seconds after I submitted my order! (Actually it was about 20 hours, but you get the point). It installed easily and works great. There was even plenty of room for the mouse to be used next to the keyboard.

I would definitely order it again if the need arises.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Perfect size, Sturdy

Cons: Screws are to small

Other Thoughts: After looking at all of the available keyboard trays on the market, I decided to give this one a try because it looked good and was priced very reasonable.
I have a large desk that already had 2 keyboards on it & I needed a third for video editing.
After reading other reviews, I went to my local Ace hardware & bought bigger #10, 3/4" screws. Check the thickness of your desk to determine the length of the screws needed.
I used a large Vise Grip locking clamp to hold it in place while drilling the pilot holes & putting the screws in.
Had it mounted in less than 10 minutes. It's probably not the best quality of hardware that's out there, but it seems very strong & works great for me! All things considered, I can easily give 5 Eggs.
Newegg Rocks!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat item

Pros: Great dark cherry color. Long and able to hold mouse and keyboard and still have space left over. Rugged sliders and comes with a color marker to fix minor scratchs

Cons: Cheap wood and came with a mark in the wood that was about 6 inches long and was covered at factory. Looks like a crack in the wood but it is only a mark in the finish.

Other Thoughts: I would buy this again. Great product for the price and rugged. The four screws are all that is needed to install the bracket mounts to the desk. These provide a good stable platform so no more screws are needed.

4 out of 5 eggsworks good

Pros: It works good. It looks good. It slides out like it should.

Cons: well, it comes with only enough screws to put 1 screw in each corner to hold it on the bottom of your desk. It needs 2 each corner. So I have to go out and get 4 screws. Would it really be that hard to put enough screws with it?

Also, It was a bit difficult to put on the bottom of the desk. It was hard to line up squarely while laying on your back and trying to screw it in place. It would be so much easier if it came with a template so you could drill the holes in the right spots squarely.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I like it. For the price it is a good bargain. It even matches the color of my desk perfectly.

I put it on a desk from Pottery barn. It works like a charm, even though it isn't squared perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Slides in and out, supports the keyboard. Plenty wide for both keyboard and mouse.

Cons: No built in cupholder? But seriously... Only came w/ 4 screws to mount the bracket legs under the desk; fortunately had 4 on hand to make a really secure connection (each bracket leg has two holes, one screw on each was probably okay but two has to be better).
