5 out of 5 eggsMostly solid and smooth, worth it

Pros: • Installation: easy, but requires a power drill and a tiny wood bit for pilot holes (of course). The included wood screws looked like they're stripped, but after installation, it became apparent to me that they were deliberately designed that way, in order to somehow be strip-resistant. Despite how it took a lot of pressure to properly drive them in, and there was some slippage, they didn't appear at all damaged when I was done. Very nice.
• Up/down, in/out and side-to-side motion are all very smooth.
• Looks nice and sturdy. Its construction seems pretty standard in terms of articulating keyboard trays (or at least what *should* be standard). I think I can trust this tray enough to stick with it.

Cons: • Instructions: there's only a single sheet of paper that doubles as a drill hole stencil with minimal instructions for installing the rail properly. Fortunately, that's the most important part of installation, as well as the easiest to mess up, and what little is given was rather effective in helping me install it in the easiest way possible.
• The mouse pad: it just slides in and out of the bottom of the tray, although that does require force, so for all intents and purposes, it's secure. The catch seems a bit flimsy, but at least it's adjustable and has a cord clip.
• Adjusting the angle of the tray is a hassle, especially at negative (tilted forward, away from the user) angles. It often takes me several attempts to get it to the desired angle.
• The angle meter on the articulation joint is poorly coupled to the angle of the tray (doesn't follow it that well). I'm not even sure it's accurate. Thus, it seems like somewhat of a gimmick.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: For the most part it's fairly sturdy. Having the separate mouse pad is awesome. Tons of adjustment options.

Cons: Maybe it's just me, but the keyboard tray could just just a tad bit more reinforcement. It's fine as is, but it wobbles a bit sometimes.

Other Thoughts: I've had carpal tunnel for awhile now and this tray is a godsend. As a gamer, it's great because now I can truly be comfortable doing what I love to do.

4 out of 5 eggsSturdy product, lacks instructions

Pros: Sturdy articulating arm and good resistance on the angle adjustments. Easily stows away with minimal effort under the desk.

Cons: Instructions are very sparse. Had to guess what a few of the parts in the crunched up box were for. The plastic fastener nubs for the palm rest were mashed up from shipping, so I had to secure one side of the palm rest to the keyboard tray using double sided tape.

Other Thoughts: This was easier to install than I thought. Make sure you have a user around to hold up the tray when you are installing the base plate on the underside of the desk. It's a little on the heavy side.

5 out of 5 eggsStable and Easy to Adjust

Pros: Extremely heavy duty construction, feels solid.
Adjusts easily: tilt adjusts using latch at FRONT of keyboard tray, everything else adjust if you lift up the keyboard tray. No knobs needed.
Mouse pad is suprising stable, very adjustable and can spin around on top of the keyboard number pad IF you have a low profile keyboard.
Mouse pad will rotate in enough that this whole assembly can slide into a 27" drawer slot. It retrofitted a traditional desk in a lawyers office nicely.

Cons: Could always be cheaper, but this was still a great value. Not a cheap keyboard tray and worth it.

Other Thoughts: This replaces a cheaper similiar unit, and it's a noticable improvement in stability, ergonomics and function.

I'll be buying more of these in the future.
