I didn't get too deep into all of the features, but I was able to pull it out the box, put it together, and make a cartridge worth of labels in no time. Buttons are really nice. We got it for labeling our baby's bottles, food containers, etc. for day care, and this fit the bill perfectly. Cons: Like many others have stated, it wastes some tape, hence the 4 eggs. Those rolls are not cheap, but the tape stays on through dishwasher runs. Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to ANYONE, but if you have a baby and need to label everything for day care, this is THE label maker you need. Nice, big, clear lettering, and the tape will stay stuck, even if you don't get an even placement. I do look forward to taking advantage of some of the advanced options of the label maker one day, but for now the plain and simple is getting it done. Did you find this review helpful? Has multiple modes to customize the look of your labels. It is very easy to use. Cons: The only Con I have is that it wastes label tape. It would use a lot of tape to print a small label. After getting the settings right it uses a lot less but still wastes about an inch of tape before it starts printing the label. What I have done it wait until I have more than one label to print and put four spaces between labels then cut it myself. It uses a lot less tape that way.
