Pros: Looks nice. Very clear screen and resolution. Surprised at the picture quality of a movie. Good sound overall. Ample storage size for music. Easy to navigate. FM Tuner.
Cons: I've begun to avoid using this device. It's unreliable in that I never know when the music will skip. It skips allot and it's unnerving. It won't skip in the same places on a song each time I play it, so I can't even anticipate it - and it's UNNERVING. So, why bother? Complaint number 2: The software is ALSO unreliable. I managed to convert one video file to the creative video codec - and, no, there is no other independent software for this device that will do - and after much trouble to finally manage that one feat, the program crashed and ceased converting any more video files. So I finally gave up on expecting to use this for video as you are supposed to be able to. It's amazing how feeble things live up to their promises.
Other Thoughts: My one other thought is that not only will I probable never try another Creative mp3 player, but things like this make me feel that you just can't count on things to do the job that you paid for it to do, and so it's all the better to just hang on to your money. Starts to feel like the next thing you buy likely won't deliver either.

Pros: - lots of space - external speaker is a great feature - lots of language support (even korean, chinese, and japanese) - easy to use - the quality of a bundle earphone is nice for free
Cons: - mp3s are oganized by IDtag - creative software is not easy to use - movie quality is not very good - doesnt have many accessories
Other Thoughts: the best thing of this great product is laguage support. many mp3s just support English and spanish. however, this one supports even korean, japanese, and chinese. therefore, you dont have to worry about the name of imported musics!!!
the second best thing is external speaker. I know the sound quality is not that good but when u recommand some music to someone, this is great feature.
as others said, IDtage based organization is little annoying. however, there are many good and free IDtag modifier out there. you can easily change the name and even put a picture of musician on it.

Pros: Packs a lot of punch into a little player. This mom finds it easy to use, and adding playlists and music with WMP11 is a breeze. You can also buy music through that website that starts with an "A" and easily add it. The external speaker is a nice touch but don't expect too much from it. Fits in your pocket or buy a silicone case with armband for long walks. For support and suggestions, you'll find a couple of really good Creative-based forum websites out there, so don't fret about Creative's customer service. The FM radio (rarely used) and voice recorder are added bonuses. I hook it up to my car stereo and Wave radio...the sound is great.
Cons: External speaker sometimes turns itself on after the player has charged. It did need to be reset once or twice after freezing up, but no damage done.
Other Thoughts: The screen is small so if you are thinking of using this to watch movies, I recommend a bigger player (I use a Creative Zen Vision M). I have been waiting for this player to be featured in a deal, as I lost my first one and have been waiting to replace it. Considered other players but I totally enjoy this one. Why pay more and get less with an IPod? If you are not comfortable figuring out how to add music and creating playlists, etc, maybe this isn't for you, but I had no trouble searching around and getting advice/suggestions from websites. In short, I love the Mozaic and I wish more people would look beyond the IPod and realize there are better players out there. Do a quick search of other 8gb players and you'll find out what a great deal this is!
