Pros: Pretty dang small. Clip is handy. Battery life has been surprisingly good.

Cons: Mine is black, not silver. Not sure if the cool silver screen would affect legibility.

Other Thoughts: I got this at a big box retailer on Black Friday (via online). Mine is the black version of the same player. While I don't listen to it a ton, I've used it for 2 straight hours and the next time I used (a week later) it still had enough battery life to play 2.5 more hours with no problems. Very small. Clip is handy. I really like it a lot. So far no problems to mention.

NOT Sweat Proof... ;(

Pros: Excellent muisc player - small & light - I bought it for the gym. I love working out with it (especially running).

Cons: I used to clip it inside the waistband of my shorts. Owned my first one for about 2 months and it DIED... When it died - I pulled it out to check it and found it was sweaty (wet). After that, it wouldn't power on or charge or anything. Luckily the local retailer gave me an exchange (I had my receipt) and my new one has been problem free.

Other Thoughts: Be careful to keep it dry - now I clip mine on the outside of my clothing. Recommend an armbad if you're into heavy cardio/running and you like to sweat...

Pros: The sansa clip is absolutely the best mp3 player that I have ever purchased for the gym. I have used it every time I work out and I have worked out 4 times a week for the past 5 months; the sansa clip has made listening to music while working out comfortable and hassle-free. All the features have worked flawlessly from the radio to the sound recorder. The digital led screen is a major plus and makes navigating the menus easy. The clip is awesome; I just clip it to my gym shorts and it is ready to go. I never have to use the hold feature except for when I put it in my gym bag so I know it doesn't accidentally get turned on; unlike the ipod the clip is easy to change songs, volume, pause, or anything else even while your in the middle of working out (you don't even need to unclip it or look at it). I did loads of research and if you are looking for a good running, gym/workout mp3 player this is the one for you.

Cons: I haven't experienced any cons with the actually player. The headphones that come with the player are decent, but I like the stock ipod headphones alot more and I use them. Also I read online that the player can develop battery life issues and headphone jack issues so I got mine with a 2 year full coverage extended warranty for 20$ extra.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an mp3 player that is user friendly and ideal for exercise you will love the Sansa Clip.
