Pros: Let me clarify that I own a previous version of the Sansa Clip, and I absolutely LOVE it. It is both beautiful and simplistic, its design is sturdy and easy to use. It is much the same as this one, with only minor differences beyond the fact that this one has MICRO SD SUPPORT. This gives you the opportunity to stick a 16 gigabyte card in this lovely little thing, and have an amazing amount of room for a small mp3 player. The interface is also improved on this version from what I have researched, however the old one has been a delight as it was. The sound this thing cranks out is VERY nice, not what you'd expect from the usual small mp3 player. It even has the option to customize your equalization. Very nice.
Cons: I've had no problems with my Sansa Clip. I'm completely in love with it.
Other Thoughts: Once again, I do not own this product, but a the previous version of the clip. I posted my rating based on my experience with the previous version of this product, which I find to be amazing in itself. I plan on purchasing this as soon as possible, this little mp3 player offers so much for a very reasonable price. I actually wrote this review because I believe the review before this one was completely uncalled for. I could not stand to see the rating drop for such silly reasons.

Newegg laid a CRACKED Egg

Pros: Great little toy, sounds wonderful if you use good headphones. That it features flac and Ogg playback is awesome. Either this or the 4 gig player would be a good deal, especially with FREE SHIPPING. A friend has one and I had my heart set on buying this one...BUT
Cons: I'd prefer a AAA battery I can swap out quickly instead of the internal rechargeable which takes a while to recharge. BUT.. THE *REAL CON* is that Newegg offered this goodie AND the 4 gig version with FREE SHIPPING, but on checkout I'm told that the shipping location for this item (and the 4 gig) doesn't support Supersaver shipping, please choose another method of shipping...
Other Thoughts: I was originally going to buy this or the 4 gig version AND an RCA Jet Sport 1 gig player (water resistant) offered as a SHELLSHOCKER... with FREE SHIPPING. But after trying all the different combinations on checkout and finally figuring out it was the Sansa Clips that weren't shipping for free, I edited my cart and only purchased the RCA Jet Sport, WITH FREE SHIPPING... I think NewEgg should send me a FREE SanDisk Sansa Clip for my trouble and time invested checking out, and for the disappointment I'm feeling :(

Pros: Able to expand memory by another 16 gig via micro SDHC. Great Sound quality ! Drag & Drop to copy over your music collection. Works well with Windows Media Player. 2 volume ranges for cranking at the Gym or falling asleep. Plays FLAC lossless and Ogg Vorbis files. Easy to read display even in sunlight. Retains song position when powered off. Has separate folders for music, podcasts, and audio books. Able to adjust playback speed for audio books. Decent build quality. Feels solid. Intuitive to navigate and operate. Great Price $$$. Very small and discreet
Cons: Battery is only rated for 14 hours. Does not play iPod proprietary music format. Large music library may be tedious to search through. Is not powered by a AAA battery. Very small and easy to lose.
Other Thoughts: Lost my old Creative Nano player and desperately needed a replacement. Wanted something small along with high quality sound and able to power my Sennheiser headphones (I have a variety for various conditions). I also wanted something powered by a AAA battery, Oh well.. As an Audiophile, I am overall very pleased as well as surprised by this little guy. If you are looking towards a work out or spare mp3 player you could do far worse. If you are not into iTunes or watching video you have found your perfect music companion.
