5 out of 5 eggslong lasting

Pros: Tiny size, good sound, and it's still working after a year and a half, and still puts out a few hours between charges,.

Cons: none for me

Other Thoughts: Earphones make a huge difference. I got a pair of Sennheiser CX200 earbuds, and it was just great, deep bass, crisp everything else. It lasted longer than the Sennheisers, and I got some JBC earbuds that sound muffled by comparison. Moral of the story - don't put down the source till you've tried it with quality speakers/earbuds. Now if the Egg would just have those Sennheisers on sale again...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little player

Pros: The sound quality is good and the EQ settings are not bad. I have the 4GB player with a 32GB memory card. The player works great in my car, allowing me to charge and listen to it at the same time.

Cons: The only drawback is that if you exceed 5,000 songs, the player has a bit of an issue. For this, I installed Rockbox - now works perfect! It even reads FLAC and other formats now.

Other Thoughts: Great buy. I'm picking up a few more - 1 for the car, 1 for the gym bag, and 1 as a gift.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: Long battery life 10 hrs after a month,it has a screen, can have up to 36 gigs with a micro sd card ,plays flac and ogg, easy to create playlist using the mp3 player, built in am/fm, the player uses your headphone wires as an antenna it is not built in,small and the clip is really sturdy, response time when selecting music is fast.average sound

Cons: none

1 out of 5 eggsIt's Good Looking, bad quality

Pros: I actually have the black one that's not sold on Newegg. The pros are 1. stylish, 2. internal memory (if it's the black one like mine, you get 8 GBs), 3. "External" memory (or in other terms memory you can insert into the device), 4. FM radio and FM recording.

Cons: here's what I have to gripe about. The cons are 1. voice recording sounds a little fuzzy and can't pick up sound from the user behind the device, 2. the headphone jack along with the other internals (*cough* Microphone, *cough, cough* antenna... excuse me I had something in my throat) are not quality at all. I mean when I have to move the headphone's plug around in the headphone jack just to get both speakers working on 2 sets of earbuds, and the antenna is located inside the device itself so putting it near you cuts the signal going to the radio down quite a bit and I use to have a phone that had a FM radio that used the headphones or earbuds (what have you) for the antenna which is a smarter choice so Sandisk has no excuse when the technology is out there. Plus my friend's Sandisk he use to have years ago had a similar headphone jack issue, so I am not ever going to buy a mp3 player from someone who should stick to external memory (good thing this one was a birthday gift so I could warn you), 3. the buttons and the mp3 player itself is way to small, my thumb is literally the size of this thing so voice recognition that actually works is a must for the next model if they stay on the course of making a small cheap product.

Other Thoughts: No other thoughts except do not buy any product involving audio from a company known for making USB sticks and SD cards because they are utter garbage made from the cheapest stuff they can find.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: This is the best personal MP3 players for anyone who wants to listen to music while doing something else that requires hands or eyes (working out, for example). Touch screens are neat, but not when you can't afford to swipe and look at a little screen. Tactile controls have their place. The sound quality is quite good.

Cons: I wish it allowed users to customize the buttons to do various tasks -- for example, press the home button three times rapidly to switch to radio mode, or up-down-up to switch to 'play all' in music. This is a small complaint. The clip could stand to be more durable, but it's at least as durable as similar, more expensive products.

Other Thoughts: There are a few MP3 players that match the sound quality, but none I've tried exceed it. For the price, it's a superb player.

5 out of 5 eggsMy First

Pros: Does everything it says it will with no problems! Ultra small but solid build. It is very simplistic controls and syncing is a snap. Nice display. I was skeptical about the sound quality because of the size but not any more! Clean clear crisp tunes with excellent base output.

Cons: Can't think of any other than it will probably get washed it is soo small. I need to get an adapter so it will fit in my BMW...

Other Thoughts: Still amazed that such great sounds can come from such a small device. I haven't tried the radio yet so not sure on that....

2 out of 5 eggsDon't buy a Sansa

Pros: Small and light, takes SDHC for more memory, cost.

Cons: Battery life was actually 2 hours after full charge. Screen lost part of display after less than a month of use. Just not going to cut it!

Other Thoughts: Have another Sansa Clip product that has issues after about a year. Power button doesn't work. Guess you get what you pay for! Too bad!

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: none

Cons: Died after 3 days of use. Wouldn't turn on and wouldn't charge through usb.

Other Thoughts: I tried to avoid buying one of these cheap mp3 players but gave in after losing patience. Don't bother with these cheap Sansa clip players. Better off throwing your money out the window

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Features for the money.
Memory capacity.
Size.

Cons: OEM Earbuds.

Other Thoughts: I like things that are easy enough to use without having to read the manual, and this player is one of them. The number of formats this thing can play is a feature well worth having. The included earbuds are just plain horrid, but for the price of the player I'm not going to dock an egg for that. Just take some of the difference between this player and some"i" product and get a better set of earbuds.

4 out of 5 eggsKinda flakey but nice unit

Pros: It is very light, has a standard usb cable and I can put a freakin huge microSD card in it.
Ohh and its cheap, supports a bunch of formats, has a built in multi timer.

Cons: After it died from the initial charge and I could not bring it back to life I almost raged with the force of 1000 nerds.
It turns out the usb connection needs to be nudged a little to make proper contact.
Now that its charging I am ok.
I hope it will continue to work.

Other Thoughts: This is really perfect in every way but I hope the charging thing is not an issue.
