Cons: Sometimes files appear twice on the player. Sometimes stuff doesn't delete without a re-format. These might be linux issues. Other Thoughts: Don't use video. I have used a few other sansas because they work with linux. I wish sansa would make the player work better with linux. Did you find this review helpful? The actual software seemed fine, but i had no way of testing it out. The power and volume buttons worked. Gonna RMA it to see if i have better luck. Other Thoughts: Sandisk support resolved the usb issue quite fast.even sent a matching traveling case for the trouble. I now use at gym. Very light when i run cant tell its there. HAD FACTORY VIOCE RECORDINGS (with chinese radio in back ground) Clip seems a little Flimsy Other Thoughts: I Love the color Orange the mp3 had a little juice on it so i can use it somewhat. headphones that come with arent that bad.. gave em a try and they sounded Alright, to be honest i would use them if i lost my main pair of buds, I dont have a way of charging the device. (takes micro USB, was packaged with mini usb) Vioce recordings left on the device file name is [VR 092407 001] (sept 24 2007) Currently Contacting Sandisk about this.. they Obviously need to have better Quality control on items but Overall from what i was able to use it seems like a ok mp3 for the gym (main reason why i bought) but for $50 4gb color screen, radio and micro sd card expansion is a good deal.
