5 out of 5 eggsDoes what is it suppose too

Pros: It is small and compact, easy to use and navigate, it has a good price, and does everything a high end MP3 player would do...plays videos, not that I recommend watching shows on a 2 inch scene, it ain't good for your eyes anyway...plays music, has a built-in radio, has a little mic for recordings, plays PDF's and Text files as can be like a little USB stick you want...

also has a good battery life.

Cons: Yes, it is slow to respond, if your a button masher and want your electronics to respond instantly, this wouldn't be for you...This is more for more patient people who don't care for rushing, you click once and wait about 1 second for the next scene...

Radio is a bit useless if you don't know what stations to go to, there is no scan option...

It's software takes a bit of getting use to but it is also straight forward...

Other Thoughts: I love it, I got a pink looks good and durable or not, just take care of it, it should last a while...

Who cares about iPod, these players are just as good or better, plus cheaper...

2 out of 5 eggsCheap (both meanings of the word)

Pros: Small and compact. Good looking design and display. What can I say besides a decent bargain for $75. Once you learn the software you have a lot of control over its functionality. Built in FM radio. Video and picture capability. Decent (but not impressive) battery life.

Cons: Fragile, flimsy, and cheaply made. The first time I dropped it, the d-click screen came off...I luckily was able to piece it together. Headphones are of low quality, but of course I have my own so I don't care. Awkward placement of the "hold" switch. As for usage...Loads songs slowly and not only that, the D-click screen navigates very slowly. Sometimes I have to click a few times to get a response. Software is difficult to get accustomed to. Also, the library does not order itself; you have to do quite a bit of fooling around to get the songs sorted and playlists created. Loading and arranging songs is a pain. Much of the functionality (like music settings for example) is not obvious from the start to say the least. I have many more gripes but I forget all of them.

Other Thoughts: Overall very cheaply made and not user-friendly at all. Bought this as a replacement for my 4 year old iP-d and was disappointed. But if you are looking for a bargain then this might be an OK choice if you have patience with electronics and a small amount of computer smarts. However I can't recommend this product.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This little guy is just plain cool, for being so small the screen resolution isnt bad when playing videos and pictures, mp3 quality is great as well! Apparently is supports reading text documents, i havent had a scenario where i needed/used it yet, however. This isnt a touch screen player, the edges of the screen press down as the buttons, really cool!

Cons: A bit of eye strain when watching videos for a long period of time, also sometimes you can press a button and the system doesnt respond... this isnt really a big problem because it doesnt happen too often and its a very minor annoyance.

Other Thoughts: This thing is just too cool! Ive showed my friends and they find the screen buttons really cool

4 out of 5 eggsgood audio book player

Pros: Use it primarily for audiobooks, works well. Saves spot in book reliably when you pause and shutdown. Easy to restart in same position. Xvids play smoothly, but must be converted to small resolution first. Battery life doesn't seem to be an issue for me. Allows charging without losing your current spot in audiobook.

Cons: Bookmarking feature doesnt work well. Saves spot in file, but doesnt play the next file when the bookmarked file is complete. Feature virtually useless.

Other Thoughts: needs firmware upgrade to fix bookmarking feature.

5 out of 5 eggsnice cute player

Pros: Crisp clear screen. FM radio with recording function. Great price!

Cons: None for this price!

Other Thoughts: Player comes with 2 downloading modes--"MSC" and "MTP". By default the player is in MTP mode and does not work with its own software... weird. Changing to "MSC" fixes the problem.

4 out of 5 eggsTimmySambone

Pros: Easy to work with. Good sound quality. Meets my needs easily. Bought it on sale when it was 50 bones.

Cons: Ratings do not transfer to device, whether you use supplied software or wmp.

Other Thoughts: I've been running it since I received it and has had flawless playback. Software is no good unless you're a Mac user.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Very small, great clear sharp screen, very easy to use d click is great menu system is simple and smart. stylish little player software is excellent easy install user friendly, Movie converter software shrunk my 1 gig + movies down to under 400 megabytes WOW and they look better also. Sound is excellent. I havent had 1 bad moment with this player.

Cons: replacing movie tittle names is a problem i change tittle when player is connected to pc but for some reason name on player wont change unless i re-install movie. but not really a major just a minor annoyance.

5 out of 5 eggsNice!!!

Pros: This thing is great. It has pretty much all the features that my walkman (which I paid more for) has. Plus, it comes with it's own video converter which is a big plus for me.

Cons: feels kinda light, might break easily if dropped on a hard surface.....hope I don't have to find out. Didn't come with an instruction manual.

Other Thoughts: In order to navigate, you have to press down on the sides of the screen. Not really sure if that's a good or bad thing.

5 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Its small but almost all screen and the D-click system works great. Extremely simple and easy to use with good navigation. Good video quality even though its only a 2" screen.

Cons: Small almost to small for my big hands. Wish there was an option in the music to play random. FM radio doesn't seem to have good reception but it might have been because of the building I was in.

Other Thoughts: This is my first MP3 player ever and I'm very happy with this little guy. Now I will be able to work out at the gym and not have to listen to the horrible music they play. For the price newegg has on this you can't beet it.
