Must look!
- Pros: Actually blows away an iPod! If you have big hands like me, then you'd prefer this to the iTouch-especially if you have a smartphone for mobile internet access. It has a 3.2" screen compared to iTouch's 3.5", better use of wifi (syncing from anywhere is great!). And still, it blows away the capacity of the iTouch.
And it definetly blows away the new 120Gb iPod in screen size, and features. And the Zune software is YEARS better than iTunes! I had the original 30Gb Zune and the coolest thing I like is when MS updates the firmware/software-it makes the device brand new again!
It's def worth a look if you are thinking about buying an iPod/iTouch
- Cons: They only give you 2 games. 3 would've been better but at least the games are good! The latest firmware (3.0) lacks EQ Presets but the sound is still excellent.
- Other Thoughts: If you have an Xbox 360, it's even better because now you can watch all the videos from the Zune Marketplace on your TV via the Zune software.
Now all MS has to do is combine both the Zune & Xbox Marketplace with a software update and then any movies/tv shows purchased on Xbox Live would be able to be ported to the Zune. They already use the same pay system so why not?
120 gb goodness
- Pros: 120gb
no itunes to mess with charges in 3 hours max sounds great black color
- Cons: doesnt come with ac adapter to charge without usb
but can live with it. no cd so if you dont have internet you gotta download it, but its easily downloadable, but you shouldnt have to worry about this
- Other Thoughts: overall good unit no problems
came pre charge

120GB of Pure Insanity!
- Pros: -It's Not an iPod
-iTunes Not Required -Zune Store Uses MS Points like my 360 -Zune cross compatibility with 360 -PLUH! -Everything the 120GB iPod has, and more!
- Cons: -Syncs/uses proprietary program
-Does not show up as a Device with Removable Storage
- Other Thoughts: It'd be better if it could be used/viewed as a "portable drive" when connected to your PC
Best MP3 Player EVER!
- Pros: I can't say enough positive things about the Zune. To start, you should know that it requires its own software to use. It is not compatible with MediaPlayer. But anything info will automatically transfer over to the Zune software. But let me say that I love the Zune software. I always thought that MediaPlayer was more than a just a few steps ahead of iTunes as far as ease of use, but the Zune software is even easier to navigate.
The storage is massive. I have about 450 CDs, around 70 videos, etc., and still can't get close to filling the darn thing! My last MP3 was a Sansa, and that thing was constantly crashing, but I've never had the slightest problem with my Zune. It always loads up and hasn't had so much as a hiccup.
- Cons: The biggest drawback that I have noticed is the battery life. This isn't too unexpected. The trade off with the high memory is the fact that you can't use flash memory. It has a hard drive, and it takes a bit more battery to run it. I think that Microsoft estimates the battery life at something like 30 hours? I haven't been able to get that much out of it. Probably expect to get something close to half that, 12-15 hours.
It doesn't come with a wall charger. But I was able to pick up a little kit from e Bay for around $20, and I've been happy. But having it included would be nice. One thing that I will admit that I liked about my Sansa is that you could access all of the files right through My Computer. You could just drop a music/video file right into it. The Zune does not show up, nor is it accessible through My Computer.
- Other Thoughts: I really don't think that you can go far wrong with this Zune. I just can't get over the storage capacity! 120 gigs is a lot more than you might think.
It is also so easy to use and navigate! Ipods just don't come close to the Zune in performance. Microsoft has won me over with this one! Next time I'm in the market for an MP3 player, it will definitely be a Zune. If Microsoft comes out with a ZuneHD with a higher capacity, I'll be the first one to snatch it up!
EXCELLENT PURCHASE
- Pros: I LOVE MY ZUNE....this thing blows the Ipod away...so easy to use but I especially love the photo album....You can upload all the pictures you want and its a digital photo album, beautiful picture quality and the screen is huge. I have shared all my grand babies pictures with all my family and friends ....its one of my favorite purchases of all times...it has games preloaded it holds unlimited mp3 and mp4's, videos. I LOVE IT!!!!!
- Cons: Not one...I was worried that it is larger than my daughters ipod but the size is great...easy to use, easy to see and great color and picture quality.....
- Other Thoughts: I would not hesitate to but this again...not even for a second and it would make a fantastic christmas present for people of all ages......
