2 out of 5 eggsHuh?

Pros: Plays music, decent battery life

Cons: Incredibly slow software and does not support playlists.

Other Thoughts: I just can not believe after calling customer support to be told that this unit does not support playlists. Why? Why would a mp3 player ever be designed that does not support playlists. I thought that was a standard. Apparently synchronize playlist with mp3 player does nothing but that doesn't mean it won't take ten minutes trying to do a short playlist of about 100 songs without even hinting it failed. Will try to return.

1 out of 5 eggsCompletely Horrible

Pros: Minimalist hardware design; slim; light-weight

Cons: Horrible UI, sluggish, inaccurate manuals, cryptic folder structure and file-system, poor power management

Other Thoughts: Sending this back for a refund. Main problem is that, after loading the device with files, it needs to refresh the music library after every power-down and start. Then the library refresh takes forever; my battery actually ran down the last time before the library refresh was completed.

Buttons and jog-wheel are of poor construction; I have to find a very small sweet-spot to get them to take input. UI is sluggish and button hits often fail to work or result in unintended responses.

I have been using various DAP's for 10 years, so I do not think it is just me. Might be a faulty unit, but I will not be rolling the dice on another one.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: - Cheap price
- RM Radio
- Fair design

Cons: - Slow data transfer speed (I'm getting 1 MB/s)
- No micro SD Card slot.

Other Thoughts: My 2nd generation iPod nano finally stopped working last week. I decided to go with something else this time, because I didn't want to spent $150 for new iPod nano and I was getting tired of iTune.

Although, I'm not really happy with this Copy mp3 player's data transfer speed, I won't complain so much about it, as it only costs me $35. I would recommend this to anyone looking for cheap mp3 player that works.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat MP3 player

Pros: Once I learned how to use the PC software that supports this MP3 player I have had no issues with it. I bought this unit to use in my car via an audio cable and the AUX input on my car stereo. I have approx 120 CD's loaded on the player and most of the time I just let it play randomly from the entire library. Occasionally I select a single CD to play. Sound quality is superb, the player has not given me any trouble when I use it correctly. It has frozen a couple of times when I first started working with it but I learned that was on me (user error) and once that was realized it has not happened again. I will say that it took quite a long time to transfer my music onto the unit. I don't know what the data xfer rate is but if I had a complaint that would be it.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The menu structure could be a bit more user friendly. It's simple and easy to use but as others have stated it can be a bit tedious. But for the money, this unit can't be beat.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing for the Price

Pros: For the price I feel that this MP3 Player cannot be beat. The initial star up time for this MP3 player is quicker than Most that I have had to use. Combine that with its base menu system and you have an Amazing Product.

Cons: As I said as a Pro, the base menu system is great. But if you try to dig a bit more into there menus it can be tedious. When shifting through all of your songs you have to go one page at a time. Which means if you have a song that starts with "R" It can take a while to finely find it.

Other Thoughts: Now Keep in mind that the issue I pointed out about the Menu system could just be from user Error. I never did get the chance to read through the manual.

Everything that I have learned about navigating menus in this MP3 player is just from me learning on my own through trial & Error. I'm sure that somewhere there is at least a basic Search function for the device.

But overall I highly recommend this to those who are on a budget or at least like to buy High Quality Products for a low Price.
