Pros: Small, fits in your change pocket. OLED screen looks great. Plays avi, FLAC. SRS sound is amazing (if the frequency of the music isn't too high). Earphones that come with it fit and sound great. Great bass. Expandable. 1GB isn't a lot but you can get miniSD card to add to the storage. MiniSD cards aren't too popular but you can get a microSD 2GB card with a miniSD adapter for ten bucks now (at newegg). Battery life if good.

Cons: I've been using this constantly for about 8 months now. I loved the earphones but they died in the 4th month, and the earphones only have a 3 month warranty, go figure. The glue on the area where the wire connects to the jack failed and the plastic covering kept sliding off causing the wire to lose contact. This caused sound in only one ear and eventually none at all. The bottom card slot should have a cover because dust gets in there and gets stuck between the outer plastic screen and the OLED screen. Controls take some getting used to but you'll get the hang of it. When I was using this in the winter the static caused by my cloths rubbing against my jacket caused small, annoying popping sounds through the earphones. Sometimes I even got an unpleasant shock to my eardrums through the earphones. Twice the static shutdown and reset the device, no damage though. The front plastic screen isn't too sturdy. It already has a crack in it from when I bent over a counter to wash my hands :'-(

Other Thoughts: The conversion software doesn't work with Mac OS X (of course), when they say compatible with OS X they mean it recognizes it so you can drag and drop the files. You'll have to use a program like ffmpegX to conver the video files here is the format: To- AVI XviD, Video- ffmpeg xvid, 320x240, 413 kbps, 23.976 fps, no crop, Audio- mp3, 48000Hz, 128 kbps. For something with all the functionally this little device has, it is certainly worth the price. I had bought this to listen to lossless music and pimsleur tracks, and ended up putting some shows on it to watch on the train. I am glad I bought it. Would I buy this again when this one fails (which I can definitely see happening right after the warranty expires)? Eh, maybe...

Pros: Versatile in media playability, small.

Cons: Let me start off by saying the construction leaves a LOT to be desired. Buttons are flimsy, casing is weak, and battery life could be better. Worst of all it dies/locks up frequently. I contacted their tech support, and they said I had to open the casing and un-solder the battery from the terminals then re-solder them to reset the battery. I did this once thinking that I had done something out of the ordinary to cause it to lock up, so I followed the instructions and it came back online. So far, I have had to open the case 3 times to reset the battery, which NOW i find out that is is a frequent problem. For something that needs this type of attention, shouldn't you at LEAST make the battery pluggable instead of soldering it in place? Poor design all the way around in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an affordable mobile multi-media player like I was, save yourself some time, money and aggravation. Buy a product from a better brand name that has been in the business for making QUALITY stuff, don't buy this junk.

Pros: Its specs look good on paper.

Cons: 1. The USB power adapter that came with it did not work.

2. I used my PC USB port to try and charge this device overnight, but it won't hold charge.

3. Construction is very flimsy. The buttons feel extremely cheap. The power on/off switch has a lot of play.

Other Thoughts: Stay away!
Only saving grace is newegg customer service. I got the RMA number w/o haggling, the return shipping bill was generated promptly.
Follow the golden rule of online shopping: DO NOT order a product that you have not previously handled/know.

Pros: Works out of the box, easy to move music and video to player. FM is flawless. Supports AVI video which is much easier to convert to than WMV. Has a wall charger that is universal to anything that charges USB!!

Cons: Battery life. 2+ hours for video, 8 hours for music

Other Thoughts: This item is well packaged, firmware update was smooth (follow directions and its quick) and it does work fine with Vista64. Cant beat the price
