great case
- Pros: great case protects your phone verry apealling look. i get lots of comments and ?'s about my phone/case due to its rugged look. i have dropped it a few times with no ill affects to phone.
- Cons: 1.as others have stated things like aftermarket chargers fm tuners and such dont work well with this case. find it usefull to try plugging in such stuff prior to buying. most stores ive shopped at hasnt had much issue with this after explaining situation with the case.
2. gets dirty easily in corners of screen and areas for speakers/camera/ microphone. ive found cleaning with plain water and q tips works good when case is all apart.
3. didnt like the belt clip supplied didnt seem like the phone actually is held verry tightly.
- Other Thoughts: verry good case and neweggs price is alot better then price i got from at&t store where i got mine ($69.99). but that was same day the 3gs came out maybe price has gone down but it seems pretty steep drop. id deffinately strongly suggest this case reguardless of the cons (which arent as bas as they may sound) with the $ spent on the iphone its wise to protect your investment.
Crazy
- Pros: It REALLY does protect the phone. It adds bulk of course, but my phone has dropped in the parking lot where I work four times. The first time I was scared but didn't even phase it. The next times it fell, I didn't even worry one bit! Just dusted it off and put it up.

- Other Thoughts: So there are fixes you can on the internet. One I can confirm is the baby powder. A very light mist to where you can't see it under the screen works. Also, adding the screen protector products works. Another thing that worked for me was adding a thin clear piece of plastic underneath and that works as well.
Very good
- Pros: I've dropped this from waist height probably 10+ times its come through every time. I haven't experienced the echo effect that others describe.
- Cons: Watermark effect between the iphone screen and the case. - Easily fixable, get a powersupport anti-glare film and it totally fixes it. There is supposedly a fix that involves baby powder too, I didn't try it.
- Other Thoughts: The warranty from Otterbox is top notch. I scratched the inside of my screen while I was cleaning it, I emailed support hoping to be able to purchase just that part. To my suprise they just shipped me an entire new case! FREE! Even though I admitted that I damaged the case! The last case I imagine I'll have to buy.
