Pros: sounds good for the money. decent audio

Cons: Didn't work for long. power button didn't work. Hard to push in. Had to leave power button pushed in and plug it and unplug it when ready to use. After about 2 weeks it went completely out.

Pros: Sounds great
Easy to Pair
Windows 7
Windows 8.1

Cons: Superior to others at twice the price.

Other Thoughts: The unit has a hefty feel which should indicate a long life. I used an Asus bluetooth dongle.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Speaker With Many Uses

Pros: Decent frequency range. Looks good. Pairs easily.

Cons: Distorts at high volume. No volume control. AC power only.

Other Thoughts: I originally bought this to use with a Kindle tablet. I soon found that having to plug it into an ac outlet was a pain.

I then thought of using this to replace the built in speakers in my PC monitor which compare to a laptop in fidelity. I have a desk with limited space for speakers but I tucked it under the front of monitor. When I plugged it into my computer I found that this was a perfect use for it. It looks like a miniature sound bar for the monitor and the volume and equilizer controls for the sound card make it sound great. The extra usb charging/power port is also very useful.

3 out of 5 eggsNice for the price

Pros: I'm picky with my sound, and I've been looking for something that projects the sound forward. Not to the side, not backward, and not a speaker that you cover with your tablet when you prop it up so that it gets all muffled.

The span of the speakers is great, allowing sound to come toward you, yet is has a small enough footprint that you can put this most anywhere. Bass is great for how small it is. It has like a rubber reflex enclosure on the underside that allows it to get better bass than most other small speakers.

Cons: The sound sputters a lot. When sound gets too low or there is a break in sound (like in between words when listening to dialogue, or a quiet/rest in music), the speaker like cuts power to the speaker... It's weird. It does this whether its plugged in to the aux port or connected by bluetooth.

For example, if the people were saying:
"We finish each others sandwiches",
you would hear:
" andwhiches."

I got this to watch movies in bed, soooo... that kind of sucks.

If there is a constant flow of sound, no breaks, it sounds great. You may occasionally luck out if you turn it up really loud. The white noise may be loud enough to force it to push power to the speakers constantly.

Other Thoughts: All in all, its great speaker, sound is good for the size, small footprint, but can you deal with the sputtering? It depends of what you want to use this for. Good like trying to listen Tori Amos or something else like that. It's great for Deadmau5, as long as there's no breaks in the song.

3 out of 5 eggsFair value

Pros: USB port for charging. Nice looking unit. Pairs easily.

Cons: Distortion at higher volume. The 3.5 mm jack causes cracking sounds.

Other Thoughts: I bought this on sale. That is its saving grace. Sound is decent. But you can not play it to loud without distortion. The 3.5 mm cable that came with it is terrible.
I wish I had another cable to try with it. I hope its not the port itself that causes all the distortion. I will find out later.. Bluetooth pairs easily though. It's not Bose. For the price I paid. I'm happy.

4 out of 5 eggsSputtering problem more info

Pros: Sorry for not putting this all in 1 review.
Can't edit or delete previous reviews.

Cons: Strong low bass distorts sound, no volume control.

Other Thoughts: I have found that if pushing the button does not work, running continuous sound for 2 minutes or so from the Aux port turns the Bluetooth light red on my unit and there after the sound does not get interrupted.

4 out of 5 eggsSputtering problem solved

Pros: This is an addon to my previous review.
Adding a star.

Cons: Still has bass distortion and lack of volume control.

Other Thoughts: Press the Bluetooth button until it turns a solid red with the aux in connected.
I would guess this turns off the Bluetooth seeking function and allows the wired connection to not be interrupted.
Sputtering problem seems to go away on my unit when this is done.

3 out of 5 eggsWith all it's faults

Pros: Good looks, and sound at low levels.
Supports my Nook HD+ perfectly and works great for watching movies since the speakers are separated nicely.
USB charging port is a nice touch.

Cons: Sound occasionally sputters when quiet passages come and unit tries to switch between Bluetooth and wired connection.
Cannot handle frequencies below 120 hz without major distortion. Needs a high pass filter (capacitor) in line with the speakers to limit bass response.

Bluetooth indicator flashes constantly and both LED's are too bright at night, but if dimmer not visible by day so not really a flaw.

No volume control.

Other Thoughts: I have a Sykik portable/rechargble Bluetooth speaker which sounds better and works flawlessly, and is rugged, but it costs almost twice as much as this one which I bought on the Flash for $20.

Can be opened to modify by CAREFULLY removing the speaker grill.

Bought an Eagle ET-AR101BP-BK here for $25 which I have not received yet, but the reviews were a lot better except for 2 recent ones here about charging and voice prompts. I wonder if the item design has been changed.

Since I live in Mexico and really can't return items I researched this elsewhere before buying where it got good reviews.

No reviews available for this item when I bought it.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Small footprint, sleek design, good audio quality (when it's there), Bluetooth and USB charging port.

Cons: Occasional audio dropouts, both wired and BT.
NO internal batteries!

Other Thoughts: I was expecting this to have internal, rechargeable batteries. Without them, you are tethered to an AC outlet, which makes it dangerous to use in the bathroom or near the kitchen sink.
