2 out of 5 eggsMediocre at best

Pros: Usb, sd card reader, LED display, FM radio, remote control.

Cons: Hardly wireless. Bluetooth range is only about 10-15 feet and there is a constant buzzing sound when connected. They include and auxiliary cable but it's only a foot long. The battery only lasts an hour at most so if you plan to have music all day on the beach, it's not going to happen. Build quality is fairly cheap. You can only skip songs with the remote if you are using Bluetooth and like I've said before, the Bluetooth sucks.

2 out of 5 eggsLots of features, but mediocre sound

Pros: FM radio worked okay. The little LED display was nice. I liked that the buttons worked to skip from song to song when playing over Bluetooth - that's common sense but not common. The battery lasted for several hours of playback. I liked the USB drive or SD card capability - my replacement is microSD only which limits the options. Sound was alright when watching a movie on my Nook HD+ and throwing the audio through the Craig speaker.

Cons: Bulky and easy to scratch - I had no confidence that this would stay looking good after a few weeks of usage. The reason I returned it was the mediocre sound, especially playing music through Google Music over Bluetooth. Even with both smartphone and Craig speaker maxed out on the volume, it was not loud at all. As mentioned above, spoken audio seemed better, but music was muffled and bass-less.

Other Thoughts: Ultimately I purchased a Sharkk speaker for $35 which traded FM radio for a smaller footprint and MUCH better sound - loud and clear and even with a bit of bass.
This Craig speaker has plenty of features but if the sound is almost unusable, what use is a speaker?
