I listen to mostly hip hop and it's reproduced the lows and highs very well. It's a great way to listen to music when I'm away from my monitors. You can connect the speakers together into a 'daisy chain' for enhanced sound and volume. It gets LOUD too, more than I need it to. It's a great little speaker. This looks exactly like it, so I thought it would be a worthwhile purchase (I'm glad I didn't get two, like I was going to.) There's no comparison in the sound - well maybe compare a tin can to a Klipsch. My oldest daughter now uses it on her iPod in the car. Only until she gets something better.
