I threw it in the garbage, Gave customer a different brand...

Other Thoughts: Not sure how to get around testing stuff before selling it to a customer, We all assume it will work new out of the box, customers want un open items, otherwise they consider it used....MFG should do better quality control......................

Other Thoughts: I can't believe how good this little speaker sounds. It's convenient for use in remote places like out in the back yard or in the car. Its the perfect companion for Bluetooth media devices.

Pros: I picked one if these up on sale for about $25 total and for that price this thing is great. This model uses Bluetooth and has pretty decent range, id say 50ft direct line of sight. I use it at work since I work in a lab and people who come to talk to me while it is playing are always confused on where the music is coming from. This model sounds a little better than the cheaper boombugs as it has more bass and a little less distortion at higher volumes. Battery life is around 4-5 with just Bluetooth and near full volume, maybe a little longer than that. If you use the headphone jack, the battery lasts 8 hours easily.

I ended up buying a second one of these for my younger sister while on sale again for about $25. I probably wouldn't buy this at $50-60 again, but anything under that and it's an awesome deal. If I didn't have a bluetooth speaker already(I'm talking about me buying my second as a gift), these are a great option at $50-60. I use to own a jawbone and I honestly will never buy their product again, I recommend theses over jawbone due to price and quality ratio alone.

Cons: Unfortunately while using Bluetooth you can not use it's headphone jack port. This unit does not allow daisy chaining with the smaller cheaper version while using Bluetooth. You can however daisy chain using its headphone port as the end of a chain with Bluetooth off.

Other Thoughts: For sh!ts and giggles after buying one cheap version and being impressed with it I decided to buy this version in silver and a second non Bluetooth model. While I could use the Bluetooth a "hub" as a sort and use all three speakers wirelessly, I could have it connected to the chain via headphone jack. With three of theses units going in a chain, two 11-2 models and one 12-1, these pump out very impressive sound. Id say close to or more than a single jawbone.

After owning jawbone and having its super flimsy charge port break, I recommend these boombugs over it by a large margin. Jawbone has horrible support for such a large company and does not honor warranties of gifts or people who do not have original receipts.

While I can't comment on boombugs warranty as I haven't had issues. the fact that it uses mini USB vs micro USB is a major plus. Micro USB is just too flimsy and weak of a port for continued use, the mini is much more durable and more suited for a portable speaker like these boombugs.

Overall I recommend!

Pros: Small size, decent sound (for its size), Bluetooth is nice, price (with 55% off promo code).

Cons: Battery life, sound distortion when above 80% volume, sound controls only work when connected through Bluetooth.

Other Thoughts: The device may last 8 hours per charge if you had the volume at 50% or below, but at that volume you mind as well use your devices internal speakers as it is very quiet. I got 3-4 hours of battery life at 85%ish volume. The sound isn't super loud but it gets the job done. It's a little bit louder than my Razr Maxx HD and has better bass. The sound gets pretty distorted beyond 80% volume. Bottom line, for the full price of ~$55 I would try something else.
