It's lighter and smaller than I expected at 2.5" in diameter, 2" tall closed and 3" tall open. It gets impressively loud without becoming distorted and the bass was strong enough to vibrate the unit itself right off my counter. Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy with my DROID, and while I have yet to test the range the signal carries to another room 20' away or so without dropping. It includes a 3.5mm audio cable to easily hook it up to whatever music player you're using. Connecting via the cable automatically disables Bluetooth mode. Cons: It can be difficult to twist the speaker open or closed, as there is not much to hold on to. I have found that this gets easier over time. The speaker has no play/pause/track forward/track backward functions, only on/off and volume. Needing to keep your music player within arm's reach to control your music makes Bluetooth connectivity less useful. AXESS advertises that you can put this on a keychain- it's a bit large for that, and the attach point they give you is far too small for anything but a bit of string or thin wire to pass through so there's no way to put it directly on a keyring. Other Thoughts: The stated 8-hour battery life only applies when using the included 3.5mm audio cable.
