Works as Advertised
- Pros: I bought this to replace an ancient radio/cd player that we had in the bedroom, and this has done a better job than expected. Plays, charges, and controls my iPod Touch without a problem, and it provides full sound output. It has a digital AM/FM tuner which makes it easier to find stations, and the antenna is actually built-in to the proprietary power adapter. The size is also attractive - it won't take up the entire space on a night stand, and the station comes with 14 (I believe) docking adapters to connect just about any iPod (sorry shuffle owners).
- Cons: The motion activation is pretty sensitve, so any motion around the Pure-Fi activates the lights. Also, although the remote does have a lot of functions, you can't do much navigation on an iPod Touch - it's not hard to see why it couldn't be done, but the Pure-Fi would be perfect if I could navigate!
- Other Thoughts: We're playing Pandora radio streams constantly using the Touch/Pure-Fi combo and I can't imagine being happier with it. Because of the constant charge the wifi connection on the iPod Touch never drops, and we have a internet radio constant stream playing through the Pure-Fi - and we can't tell the difference between our MP3s and the radio!
Works with Iphone 3g.. sort of.
- Pros: Self adjusting brightness on the display, Great sound.
- Cons: The viewing angle on the display is pretty slim, make sure it's facing your pillow of you won't be able to read it.
This thing works with the Iphone 3g... about half the time, sometimes you get the "this device is not compatible message. Sometimes it just looses the connection.
Main problem here:

Starting to get a little angry with Logitech, first a dead Dinovo Edge wireless keyboard and now this, steer clear of this if you have a 3g, let them get the bugs worked out.
