Pros: Crisp clear display, media playback from iphone/ipod-usb-SD card reader, dual alarm clock with multi-sound playback options, a host of other features I am too lazy to give credit too
Cons: Doesn't work with all iphone apps playback video (although it works with iphone's ipod app and the youtube app), the lowest preset dim level is still particular bright in a dark room, no way to delete the preset pictures that come preload
Other Thoughts: Make no mistake about it. Either you'll like this device or hate it. There are enough major likes to slightly overpower the minor dislikes. The fact you can use the SD or USB input for additional options for media playback keeps this device from being a dud. I personally dislike the attached power cord. In my opinion it should have been a modular cord. Some features of the iphone playback need to be started from the iphone then you can use the controls on the device to get playback on the device. Given the price of the device it may or may not be justifiable depending on your goals. I find it perfect for displaying a simple video and falling alseep to it with having to worry about setting a sleep timer or waking in the middle of the night to turn of the tv set. The real shock is waking up to a well light room when the display kicks in. It is very bright and annoying. Great for forcing you out of bed to turn it off.
