1 out of 5 eggsDead on arrival.

Pros: Came free on a shell shocker deal for something I actually wanted.

Cons: None. Finally opened the box and it didn't work. Very light weight, cheap build. Scratched the plastic new out of the box wiping it on my shirt.

2 out of 5 eggsThe Glass Cannon of chargers

Pros: Okay, start with the good: it charges and charges well, even with two USB devices plugged in at the same time. My S4 goes from near empty to full in about an hour and a half, and doesn't go any slower when another phone is plugged in either.

The unit is also nice and relatively small. Not Apple charger v2 small, but pretty small. You can't fit this in the center of a three-outlet splitter, but you can get it in on either side.

On that topic, the prongs being near the corner of the adapter makes it easier to use More importantly, it's not polarized, meaning you can flip it upside-down or whatever way you need to for it to work.

Cons: If you've read any of the other reviews, the cons are pretty obvious. If not, let me summarize: this thing will literally fall apart within a few months, if not weeks, if not days. It also will go rather suddenly. One day mine was working fine. The next day the plastic around the USB ports just fell off, followed by the fold in prongs coming "unlinked", for lack of a better term: essentially I have to fold them out one at a time. This wouldn't be so bad if they weren't also horribly loose, so you can't keep them the proper distance apart for plugging into an outlet.

Other Thoughts: Despite the problems I've had with this charger I'm still using it. Unlike some other reviewers, I don't feel like it's actually DANGEROUS to use once you get it plugged in, at least the way mine has broken. That said, I avoid unplugging it ever, since each unplug might be its last. Kind of inconvenient since I got this as a travel charger, but I do have other chargers I can take with me on trips.

I'm not too broken up about this since I got it on sale, and since it still technically works. I absolutely cannot recommend anybody else buy this though.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Bother

Pros: It has two USB outlets

Cons: What the others have said is true. Under light use fell apart 6 days after return policy. Worse, it remained plugged in when the case fall off. Had I not been careful, I could have easily touched the contacts which were still plugged in to the wall with my bare fingers.

Based on what the others have said, I will never by Macally again.

1 out of 5 eggsAwful

Pros: Works fine until it breaks

Cons: Worked fine until I accidentally pulled it from the wall, at which point it broke apart leaving the plug half still I'm the wall. I couldn't take it out without it shocking me. Also, it would've been nice if the USB ports faced up when plugged in instead of to the side.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the price for how cheap it is

2 out of 5 eggsNice little charger but cheaply made.

Pros: Works, compact, lays flat.

Cons: Tends to fall apart.

Other Thoughts: Like so many other reviews, the gray plastic piece around the fold-out prongs popped off the first time I pulled it from the outlet. I almost returned it but decided to keep it for one reason - it lays flat. My other USB chargers stick up over an inch which prevents me from sliding the power strip under the desk. I hot-glued the gray plastic piece back in place (which seems to be holding so far).

1 out of 5 eggsimmediately broke into pieces

Pros: N/A

Cons: I tested it when it arrived. It charged a USB device, then broke into several pieces when I tried to unplug it from the electrical outlet. I even had to use a tool to get the prongs out of the outlet. If a zero rating were possible, this would be it.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: lays really flat, it is easy to throw in your pocket. looks really nice.

Cons: The charger does get pretty hot if you have two devices plugged in at the same time. I will see if this affects its longevity overtime.

1 out of 5 eggsWow, complete garbage.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Broke while doing what it's suppose to do, tried to pull it out from the wall and the entire plug came out. Cheap piece of junk. Never ordering a Macally product again. Newegg you should be ashamed for even carrying this.
