Best deals are the ones that come with the case and extra battery for $400. I have taken it all over the country in my car trunk, and it still keeps playing. No problems yet. However, it all comes back to the sound, and again, the sound is quite good for the size. Cons: No FM tuner. Dock should be of better quality. Price is too high. Bose can get the price because of having a unique product, not because of overall quality. Other Thoughts: It's not the best sound you have heard, but it is very good sounding. Was slammed onto the concrete in anger and only the grill popped out and was not damaged, worked right after with out a problem. Remote works very well. Cons: Poor sound quality in the outdoors, volume buttons have a mind of there own. Other Thoughts: It doesn't live up to the Bose reputation.
