Pros: I needed something I could plug my IPod Nano into in my car and this fit the bill.

Sounds good for a small speaker.

Cons: Turning it on is harder than it should be. But since I only need to do this once for a car trip, it's not a big deal.

Pros: sounds fine for ten bucks.

Cons: battery life at higher volumes...but that's just a matter of physics.

Other Thoughts: get rechargeable NiMH batts...this will eat them like candy if you turn it up enough to hear while you're in the shower

Pros: Small. powerful enuff for the size; I didn't really expect concert hall sound for $10 but I am impressed with this device

Cons: on/off switch wish it had a ac/dc adapter but 'eh whaddya gonna do

Pros: Got it on sale here at a very good price. Battery life is outstanding using Energizer 850 mAh rechargable NiMH. I've been pretty happy with previous Atlec Lansing audio products and this one is no exception.

Cons: Ring switch around the top is strange and uncomfortable to turn on and off. It'd be really tough to turn on if you only had one hand.

Other Thoughts: Ring switch works fine, don't let that deter you. In my opinion a normal switch would have been better.

Pros: Great Size, Batteries Last, Sound is very solid, compact efficient design.

Cons: Would like a little "on" light - but I realize that would probably use more battery (though not much).

Other Thoughts: Definately worth $10-20 - not sure about $30. This little guy is great for people who travel a lot for work and like to listen to music on laptops/iPods in hotels. I use my in the bathroom sometimes for a little shower/shaving music. Take is with me everytime I visit family/friends out of town and want to listen to music with a little privacy or want to share something off of them. I've since bought 2 more - they are great for the work gift exchange (10 bucks, free shipping, throw in 3 AAA batteries and you're ready to go!)

Pros: Very loud.

Cons: On/oss switch is terrible, almost impossible to use.

Other Thoughts: Bought these for $8. It is just okay if you want to listen to loud music and not worry about distortions. It sounds awful at the max volume from your mp3 player or computer. Too much distortion. The on/off switch is a joke. I have to open the battery compartment to turn it off and save the batteries because I can turn the darn thing off using the on/off switch.

Pros: 1. Light-weight and sturdy
2. Very good sound quality
3. Long battery life
4. Ridiculously low price
5. Absolutely perfect for backpacking

Cons: I have 5 of them and no problems whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: HOW TO FIX THE SWITCH---
Take a very dull table knife or small screwdriver and gently pry the silver ring loose from the body of the speaker. Then take a q-tip , dip a small amount of liquid soap on the q-tip.and rub a small amount of the soap on the inside of the silver ring and on the black plastic where the ring mounts. That's it! Now your switch will turn on and off quite easily. Other lubricants probably work just as well or maybe better: I just haven't tried them.

Pros: Convenient size, cord wraps around unit, adequate sound for what it is.

Cons: Crazy on/off switch, very difficult to turn. It required a battery change very quickly and then stopped working entirely. Very frustrating as I thought it might be the silly on/off

Other Thoughts: Not even worth the $10.

Pros: Handy. Sounds great for its size. Very balanced range for highs and lows.

Cons: Difficult to turn on and off. The "ring" switch is slick and hard to turn.

Pros: great stuff would recommend
