4 out of 5 eggsGreat small form factor DIY PC

Pros: Small, silent and fanless. Easy to assemble. Holds a 2.5 inch SSD no problem Builtin WiFi works great. Booted OK with a Linux Mint 17.3 USB flash drive. Quad Core 2ghz Celeron processor is fast enough for casual gaming. Windows 10 runs well. Has a DB15 VGA Video connector, which is not included on some other small form factor computers. Runs great with an 8GB G.Skill SODIMM.

Cons: Don't like the UEFI 'BIOS'. I couldn't find a way to switch to legacy BIOS. This computer would not boot with my existing Windows 7 (upgraded to Windows 10) SSD. I had to reinstall Windows and I lost all of my data and installed programs. I didn't have a tiny Phillips screwdriver small enough for the included HDD/SSD mounting screws. Has room for a 2nd HDD/SSD in the CD/DVD slot, but the mounting bracket is not included.

Other Thoughts: From the description, I couldn't tell if it has a builtin WiFi adapter or not. Yes, it includes a Realtek RTL8188EE mini PCI-E 802.11 B/G/N adapter. The antenna is internal. The Wifi adapter was recognized natively with Linux Mint 17.3 without installing any drivers.

3 out of 5 eggsok,not great

Pros: Runs cool. Fanless. Compact. Debian 7.6 installs with no hassle; need debian/jessie xorg for hardware acceleration.

Cons: Coming from the gorgeous aluminum shuttle boxes, this machine is a step backwards. It's made mostly of plastic, does not feel very solid. Had a hard time screwing in the SSD, as the screw holes are not 100% aligned.

Firmware is UEFI only, no legacy BIOS.
