5 out of 5 eggsSN41G2

Comments: I have had this system for over a year now. I love it. Only had on problem with it, only had it for about 3 months and the BIOS failed. Thanks to Neweggs great RMA service I had a new one with in a few days of them receiving the bad one. Running an AMD 2600+, 512 Kingston HyperX PC4000, ATI Radeon 9600XT, DVD-+RW, 160Gig Maxtor 8mb cache HD. I will never go back to a full tower again.

5 out of 5 eggs1st purchase, best purchase

Comments: This was my first purchase at New Egg, and I couldn't be happier. I love this PC, very small yet powerfull. I put in an AMD 2800, ATI Radeon 9800XT, Plextor 8x DVD+RW drive, Maxtor 200GB HD, and a Gig of RAM. This was an upgrade from my 6 year old PIII 600Mhz PC. BIG difference! I had it now for over four months, and everything is stable and perfect without any crashes. Thanks New Egg for all of the parts.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I've had this for over a year now. After a couple of months the PS fan made an irritating high pitched noise. I replaced it with one from a new 486 cooler (yes you can still find these). A couple months later the system shut down from overheating. The 80mm fan worked some of the time. The onboard fan control was failing for both fans, even when set to "full" in bios. I replaced the 80mm with a smart fan and used an adapter to plug the chipset fan to 12v. Now the system is fairly quiet. Air coming from the PS feels maybe a degree or two above room temp. Air from the smart fan feels room temp. My XP 1400+ reads a few degrees above actual room temp.
Overall a great system, and I would buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Kit

Comments: Spent about a week researching cubes and matched this one with an AMD 2600+, 512 MB Kingston 2700, WD 80GB HDD and a netgear PCI wireless card. I bunged the OS on with an old CD-ROM which I then disconnected. All went together smoothly and without incident. I am very impressed with the whole package including

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Very easy to build a system. It saves a lot of time when you don't have to install the power supply and motherboard. The only tool you need is a Philips screwdriver. The manual is written in so-so English, but the step-by-step pictures help. If you are fairly handy (builds Ikea furniture, changes your car's engine oil), then it should be pretty easy to build a Shuttle XPC. Just be sure to ground yourself.

Ordered AMD Barton 2500+ CPU and Shuttle SN41G2 from Newegg on Tuesday morning. Both arrived on Thursday afternoon. Not bad for free FedEx shipping!

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: This Shuttle system is great. It runs quiet when you set the fan to speed up at higher temps. The only problem I had was adding a second hard drive, in order to do that I had to get rid of the floppy big deal though. This is a great package and with the ICE CPU system it always ran cool. Thanks Newegg...your #1.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice except for the heatsink

Comments: Once I got past the heatsink problem everything has been great. But my complaint is that the screw or screw hole was out of tolerance or slightly stripped. I spent more than an hour gently trying to get the right rear screw to screw down. I was going to RMA it. I decide to swap two of the screws and that did the trick. I think Shuttle should have included the Parallel printer cable but I bought it from NewEgg for $12 shipped. The fan is noisy, I'm wondering if I can put in a Vantec Stealth. The motherboard manual is scimpy and no doco on how to take advantage of the IR header.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Since I've worked with one of these in the past, I decided to use one for a customer of mine that was in need of a new "cutting edge" office PC. I used a DLT3C 1.5v 1800+ and it runs 174FSB no sweat (2GHz). I could push it some more since I've tested the cpu @ 2.3GHz stable, but in this instance it is not necessary. Shuttle has really outdone themselves with these SFF systems. The build quality is top notch! I'm sure I'll pick up another one down the road.
