5 out of 5 eggsGood media center option

Pros: Comes with standard mATX motherboard (more ports).
BIOS is current so you can run gen 3 processors.
Plenty of room to work inside the case.
Looks nice under the TV (I have it laying horizontally).
EUFI is easy to configure.

Cons: As reported by others, the side panel takes a little patience. Not worth a star though.

Other Thoughts: I was somewhat concerned about compatibility with the Core i3 3220 processor I ordered with this kit, but the BIOS is current (v6.6) so there were no problems.
I'm running it with the case fan disabled and so far the thermals look good, and it's quieter.
One trick I use with kits like this, when installing the processor cooling fan, is to unscrew the motherboard and lift it up just enough so that I can slip my hand underneath and support it when I'm pushing down on the pins. It isn't necessary to unplug any of the cables, there's enough slack in them, and that way I'm always certain the cooling fan is properly seated.
Core i3 3220 with stock cooling fan
8GB G.Skill 1333 RAM
128GB Plextor SSD
LG Blu-ray combo drive
GeForce 210 video card
Windows 8 Pro with WMC (in AHCI mode)

4 out of 5 eggsNice Dummy Build

Pros: Works! No problems with XP install. HD / CDROM cage easy to remove and load. Drivers install smoothly.

Cons: Case Fan LOUD. Had to replace and acually started installing new fan while it was on since the power supply and CPU fan aren't nearly as loud. (Not silent but MUCH better with the new fan.)
Lid doesn't fit well but does the job. (gaps and over hangs.)

Other Thoughts: I read the reviews and expected to replace the case fan. Much happier that I knew a part of this case was instant trash.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Product for the Price

Pros: Inexpensive, attractive and can deliver a great desktop experience.

Cons: Loud case fan, duplicate BIOS GUIDs on all 5 that I purchased for a test environment. This leads to allot of problems with software and OS management as the 5 PC's now show as 1 in SCCM 2012.

Other Thoughts: I have contacted Biostar about this issue and will update the review to reflect whether there is a positive resolution to this problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat barebone setup

Pros: Compact, easy to work inside the case.

Cons: Side cover can be tough to get installed.

Other Thoughts: XP was not able to install, BSOD every time, 2 different discs. W7 works fine. Not a huge deal for me.

4 out of 5 eggsFlimsy plastic, questionable design.

Pros: PSU, LGA1155 mobo, slim case, at a very reasonable price. Case fan blows a good stream of air out the top, and is very quiet. Good venting for cpu fan in side of case as well.

Cons: The cover swings open to reveal the slot where an optical drive would go, as well as power & reset buttons. There is nothing to hold the door closed... ie magnet, snap, spring. If you hold the case up and blow on it, the door will swing open. Mine came shipped with a hairline crack at the top. Not a big deal, because mine will be under a counter it's whole life. Still a good deal for a motherboard, psu, and case.

Other Thoughts: Not for gamers. Slim case means not really any room for gpu, and generic psu is bad news for an expensive components.

5 out of 5 eggsAs expected

Pros: Easy to understand board layout, the case is visually nice, not showy not ugly.

Cons: The removable cover is a bit tough to get back in place.

Other Thoughts: Used two of these to build some boxes for office use, good for that setup.
