I'm a believer
This review is from: ASRock ION 330 Intel Atom 330 NVIDIA ION NVIDIA ION graphics 1 x HDMI Barebone
Pros: It's inexpensive. It's nearly silent. It's tiny. It has on-board HDMI w/Audio out. It consumes no more than 40w at peak draw. It consumes < 2w when sleeping. It runs Boxee (and Hulu from within Boxee) on Windows 7 x64 perfectly. I bought this to replace a mid-tower P4-2.4 GHz PC circa 2002 that was serving the same purpose: bedroom HTPC. The P4 (non-hyperthreaded mind you) was not capable of streaming flash in real time or playing live TV through a USB capture device. The ASRock ION 330 handles at least the former without incident.
Cons: On-board wireless would have been a nice addition, but the Buffalo ultra-compact b/g/n USB adapter works without being obtrusive.
Other Thoughts: This was the perfect PC for my purpose. I wanted an upgrade to a 7 year old PC. No matter what I bought it was going to be faster than what I had so I needed to consider it's function. Small, fast (fast enough), QUIET, and an HDMI w/Audio out for my TV.
