2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked perfectly before it died.

Cons: Graphics failed (lock ups/video corruption) of what appears to be heat damage after 10 months. Wasn't in a hot spot and didn't lack ventilation. Not capable of being a HTPC anymore but is still my torrent/storage box while I replace it.

Other Thoughts: I have the base ION-330 model, which had no BD drive or IR sensor. Otherwise identical.

5 out of 5 eggsVery satisfied.

Pros: Not a big A/V fan, but even I needed to replace my digital convertor/VCR/DVD player conglomeration. Built a Windows 7 media center PC with this unit and a HAUPPAUGE 1191 HVR-950Q RT tuner. I was surprised speed of the system, even with only 2GB of memory. The Aero interface is fluid, the only noticeable hesitation seems to occur during disk access, but that is to be expected from a small laptop disk.
I did initially notice a high pitched fan sound, but once I changed the fan setting in the BIOS to "normal", (it seems to default to "performance"), the unit is almost silent. I also like the option for no LED light.

Cons: Documentation is a little sparse.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wanted

Pros: Blu-Ray, Wireless, ION graphics, Atom Processor, HDMI output, Windows 7 64 bit certified, small, HDD and RAM included, so many USB slots.
This is my HTPC.

Cons: Some high-pitched fan noise.

Other Thoughts: Working perfectly with my Epson 8100 projector. Installed Windows 64 bit no issues.

4 out of 5 eggsNice little HTPC

Pros: Everything works as advertised. Very simple to set up. Installed XP Home Premium and then an upgrade copy of Window 7 Home Premium without any incidents. Looks great on my 32" Sharp Aquos. Awesome shipping and delivery from Newegg and the brown truck people - I think that it arrived in about 24 hours.

Cons: The only reason I am taking an egg off is that you have to buy software to play Blu-Ray discs. Yes, it would have been nice to put a couple of USB ports on the front too, but I can live with that. Having to shell out another $90 for software is kind of bogus, since you are already paying a premium for the Blu-Ray drive.

Other Thoughts: This is truly a bare bones PC, meaning that you have to add the O/S, keyboard, mouse, and any application software that you want (don't forget an HDMI cable too), which will drive the TCO up. I had an existing wireless full-size KB/mouse combo, but that was a little too large to use on a lapdesk. I picked up an Adesso WKB-4000 from Newegg because it is netbook-sized and includes a very nice touchpad - W7 recognized it as soon as it was plugged in per the manufacturer's instructions. Just remember to disable Numlock auto-on through the BIOS!

I bought this specifically as a Blu-Ray player for the bedroom as well as for surfing on a large screen TV, so I haven't checked out the audio connections - I'm just using the TV speakers for now.

One installation note - connect it to your TV or monitor using a standard VGA cable when you first set it up because you have to install the HDMI drivers, at which point you can reboot and switch to HDMI output.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Little Box

Pros: Plays Blue Rays without a problem. Good with games and the Internet. I haven't found anything it can't do running Windows 7. I have three now

Cons: Remote could use a pointer control

Other Thoughts: Best HTPC I've seen yet for it's size.
