4 out of 5 eggsIt is what it is

Pros: Cheap, small, effective.

Cons: Not the most cutting edge mobo - duh

Other Thoughts: This is based on the P4M900 - it's not a mystery what hardware is supported on it, including cpu's.

http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=prodcpusupport&prod_no=1570&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=170&cat3_no=#menu

Pretty obvious that the E6750 isn't supported.

Don't be mad, mad because you are stupid, stupid.

5 out of 5 eggsNice compact case works great

Pros: Great deal on a compact barebone that is generally well-designed. Various internal harnesses have a cool factor not often found on an entry level product. Vertical or horizontal configuration makes this a great build for family and friends who may place it anywhere. Compared to shoebox shaped barebones, the Hetis has the edge in terms of ergonomics and aesthetics.

Cons: There are a few points of design that could be improved, such as slightly tricky way to open the case (I had to look at the manual each time, because it's not clear which screws need to come off, and then how to separate the cover from the chassis). The internal harnesses are cool, but also complicated and possibly delicate. There is a slight worry in the back of my mind that something might break if I am not very careful. Compared to showbox shaped barebones, less user-friendly. Processors only up to

Other Thoughts: Definitely would buy and build more, especially for friends and family. Conroe processors up to E6700 only.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Barebone

Pros: Nice barebone and not overly expensive. I didn't buy this one from the Egg. Bought it on clearance from a small computer shop that was going out of business. Mine is V.2 and I installed a E6300 Conroe and it started right up. The manual had V 1.x on it so the version ones must not take a Conroe right out of the box but mine did.

Cons: Onboard video was DOA. I installed a low profile NVIDA GeForce 7300 in it and I got video. Guess I'm going to have to RMA this one back to MSI.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy one of these again but I'm not a barebone enthusiast so I won't buy any barebone again. I prefer to configure my PCs from the ground up when I build them for me or my customers. Someone will buy this one though once I get the new one back from MSI.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case Bad BIOS

Pros: *Good construction build quality.
*Easy to assemble
*Great heatsink/fan

Cons: *BIOS not up to date, doesn't support Conroe Processors out of the box.
*Not a tool-less chassis.

Other Thoughts: I bought a couple of these to build Point of Sale systems. They are cheap, quite and easy to assemble. On the downside, the ones Newegg shipped, do not support Conroe processors. In order to flash the BIOS, to support Conroe processors, you need to find a non-Conroe processor and a IDE CD-Rom drive. Not too hard to do, but I would recommend the newer model over this.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent build/design much better than the Asus products of similar size. Their forums are a great place to get information.

Cons: Poor driver and technical support.

Other Thoughts: A faulty driver/vid card issue was blamed on the processor, I don't know who is running things at MSI technical support but they should hand the reigns over to the forum moderators who do a much better job of fixing problems instead of making up excuses as to why it is the end-users fault.

5 out of 5 eggsDefinately will purchase again!

Pros: This is a great little box! I was suprised with the quality when I opened it up. It is a gorgeous little Media Center PC as well as a functional Gamer rig. I fitted it with a Core 2 e6300 with 2GB of corsair memory and the add in card for a graphix card is great. I put in an x1300. Quiet and cool. Even comes with a stand to set it on it's side. Comes with everything you need to put together a nice little system.

Cons: No support. The instructions that came with it was a single sheet of paper that looks like it is a copy of a copy of a copy about a million times.

Other Thoughts: This is the best bang for your buck IMHO. You definately get more than what you pay for with this barebones box.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Linux Compatible

Pros: Looks great.

Cons: Not Linux compatible.

Other Thoughts: Would have prefered to purchase the Hetis 800 (what I used in the past without problems), ordered the 900 without thinking it would be an issue.

2 out of 5 eggsDead in 10mins flat

Pros: Excellent case design, quiet cooling system, and well ventilated.

Cons: Poor support, lack of any phone support. Quality lacking. After installing a compatible CPU, memory and other items motherboard passed post once then ran for 10 mins before shutting down and blinking the power on button light in a constant fashion - nothing would get it out of this mode.

Other Thoughts: If the motherboard would have proven reliable, I would have kept it. Had to replace the MSI with the ASUS P2-P5945G.
