1 out of 5 eggsExcellent until the network failed

Pros: Excellent size/performance for HTPC

Cons: NIC failed exactly 1 year and 2 days after purchase. 1 year warranty on box.

Not worth the money if it fails after 1 year.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Small, light, low power consumption, quiet, easy to get in to upgrade HDD/SSD or ram, solid performance. This little machine rocks. I bought it because I was looking to get rid of a huge tower that was a power pig. I only used it to surf the web and do some simple office application work with it. I tried the Acer Revo, but that thing took a heart attack if more than a few tabs were open in a browser. That thing was a mistake. I bought this and have never looked back. I love this machine. Does everything that most people need it to do and does it well. I have many tabs open at the same time and this thing never misses a beat. I run Win 7 and Linux Mint and both perform beautifully. I will buy another one of Zotac's Zbox nettops anytime. I highly recommend.

Cons: NONE.

Other Thoughts: For the gentleman who said he could not get it to boot off the USB thumb drive, sailor, I bet you had it plugged into the USB 3 port. They don't work until windows loads the driver for them. I only use the USB to install my OS's so it is very simple. Try harder before you call it junk. It works fine. You just have to know how.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little HTPC

Pros: lots of expansion ports, USB2, USB3, HDMI, DVI, etc... even S/PDIF Out! S/PDIF is not common with these bare bones systems. SATA 6.0GBs also, most E-350 setups have SATA 3.0GB/s

Cons: AMD E-350 is a weak CPU. This is not realy a con, since this was known before buying.

Other Thoughts: I have this setup as a file share and used for streaming movies from iTunes to our HDTV. It works great at 1080p streams. Its OK for light multitasking ie.. watching a movie from Netflix + someone else using the file share, or streaming a movie + downloading a torrent. If you are expecting something more powerful than that, then you will probably have issues.

Be sure to update to the latest drivers of course. Running 32bit Windows 7 with 4 GB of RAM. HDD is a 500GB western digital blue. Wireless is disabled and using the Gig LAN. It has been up 24x7 for 1.5 months now without an issue. Automated tasks at night - online file backups at night, defrag, windows update, and a reboot.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing...

Pros: It's amazing how much computing power this puny thing has. Having built an ATX monster a couple of years ago, I was humbled by capability of a mini-ITX. This should be the future. Kudos to AMD for their Zacate APU and kudos to Zotac for a beautifully designed system. My next project would be a mini-ITX as well.

Added 8 GB RAM and a Crucial 64GB SSD and it simply flies.

I could watch HD videos on Netflix, Hulu and youtube with absolutely no issues.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggshome server

Pros: Does what it says. Loaded Win 7 64 bit on an OLD HDD. Cant imagine how much better with an SDD. Maxed out the RAM which was worth it

Cons: Secure the box somewhere. The cabling is heavier than the unit

Other Thoughts: Looking at a second unit ... With Blu-ray

5 out of 5 eggsgreat little computer

Pros: good little computer, quiet, small, easy to get going, plays 1080P smoothly, reliable

Cons: needs more front USB ports

Other Thoughts: I connected this to our 55" LCD tv in the living room. It was one of the easiest computer setups I have done, once I figured out how to install Windows 7 from a USB hard drive. On my TV, I had to install the video drivers and change the overscan setting for the 1080 output to fill the whole screen.

I wish it had a couple more front USB ports so I can hook up video game controllers more easily.

For 1080P playback, make sure you have the newest drivers installed. In VLC I had to change a setting that allows hardware decoding. It is disabled by default (as of 18 Feb 2012).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small size, great for movie playback on 1080 led. Windows 7 OS loaded on this baby. Installed 8 gb ram, intel ssd 120 gb and she really zooms.

Cons: Loading OS was a little tricky. You must make a BOOTABLE usb thumb drive with OS on it. Set bios boot to use this thumb drive first. (no dvd on this computer)

Other Thoughts: Love it on my 54 inch lcd tv. Browse internet and play movies flawlessly.

3 out of 5 eggsNot a bad little box, with a few quirks

Pros: -It's small and has lots of ports (4 x USB2, 2 x USB 3, eSATA, optical audio, HDMI, DV-I etc.)
-Good HD playback
-Easy to open up
-Quiet
-Comes with a stand or can be mounted on the back of the display
-Light on top can be turned off

Cons: -Wifi reception is really bad. I had my router one room away and barely got a signal, with really slow transfer rates. It also can't see a router on a different floor, whereas my laptop connects to it just fine.
-Seems picky with RAM (random BSOD/restarts etc.).
-eSATA port does NOT support multiplier, so I can't use a RAID box with multiple drives through the eSATA port
-Zotac support is slow to respond

Other Thoughts: It's good if you have your router in the same room, only care about hooking up multiple drives through USB, and don't get stuck with incompatible RAM.
They should have a compatible RAM list somewhere.

If it had eSATA multiplier and better WiFi I'd give it 5 eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsThe BEST SFF barebone for a budget on the market!!

Pros: *Easily Accessible internals
*Super Quiet
*Fast 1.6ghz dual-core APU (Radeon HD 6000 series)
*Supports 8GB Memory
*Supports SATA III 6GB/Sec
*Supports USB 3.0
*Great wireless chipset - RaLink 2860 PCI
*Realtek r8169 gigabit ethernet onboard
*Intel High Definition Audio chipset onboard

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: This is absolutely a great barebone system for anyone who wants to have a small, quiet, and fast PC that doesn't take up any space. Most systems this small either don't support much memory, or are a pain to work on when adding hardware. The Zotac ZBOX is super easy to add the hard drive, memory. Has built in WiFi, several USB ports, eSATA, onboard sound, etc. If you are looking for a small form factor box to use for a home theater, or just as a home computer, this is the one!! I have no complaints what so ever with this box. It is great. Would give 6 eggs if it would let me!!
