Pros: Great device. Works excellent with Ubuntu. Currently in use as a file/media server. Small form factor, and low power consumption.

Cons: Ubuntu does not recognize the front audio jacks. This is might just be a Ubuntu issue. The audio did work during the install. However now the front jack is not found.

Other Thoughts: Other then the audio issue. No problems.

1 out of 5 eggsGoose Egg

Pros: none,
but not NewEggs' fault.

Cons: all things Zotac.
First unit had a bad WD hard drive.
Replacement unit ran 60.C. idel ambients on the chip.
Zotac customer service is the worst. That's all I have recieved is lies, delays, extra shipping charges and defective products.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this unit in December 2012. It is the end of March 2013, and I still do not have a usable unit.

Only the WD HDD was bad in the first unit, Zotac would not replace, I had to exchange the whole ZBox. I was told I would recieve a new replacement, after waiting 6 weeks I recieved a dusty, scratched up (obviously used), overheating piece of junk worse than the one I returned. Unbelievable.

3 out of 5 eggsLaptop innards in a cute box

Pros: Small, light, very quiet.

Cons: Flimsy construction.

Other Thoughts: I bought this unit to be a tiny, portable server for product demos. ZOTAC was the smallest unit I was able to find. It worked for me, mostly.

The unit I got kept hanging on boot and needed to be disconnected from power for few minutes to boot again. When boot completes the unit runs fine. I'm about to send it back for exchange.

5 out of 5 eggsWatch QC

Pros: I reluctantly give this 5 stars. Quality Control could be better. The internal hard drive screw was missing and it would not initially recognize the drive. After finding a small screw from an old monitor, I re-inserted the HD and tightened that sucker down. It found the drive, no need to RMA. Since this is only the first time it's happened, 5 stars.

This device is otherwise awesome in most every way. The ease of setup and simplicity of installing drivers work well.

Cons: 1. It seems to run hot, but hasn't failed yet.

2. Some of these seem to run slow. It could be cheap memory or the 5400 RPM hard drive.

Other Thoughts: Although I only have about 10 of these at my branches, I'll continue buying these until something better appears. The Windows 7 Index is 3.8. The limitation is the Hard Drive.

Make sure you have the holes availble on the back of your LED/LCD monitors.

2 out of 5 eggsMissing Information!

Pros: These Zotac's rock! I assembled over a dozen and they all perfrom well. With an external USB DVD, Windows is a snap to install, just like any laptop or desktop. The Driver CD works well.

Windows 8 will install, only if you disable the logo splash screen at bootup.

Cons: No real Cons... except Newegg doesn't list if a Hard Drive and Memory come installed.

1 out of 5 eggsNot real happy

Pros: Lots of potential.
Great small size.

Cons: Runs very hot.
Java crashes, tried x32 and x64, even in linux...
Video is not clean, and you can't update the NVidia drivers.

Other Thoughts: I think I'll be avoiding Zotac in the future, I don't like companies that release things and expect paying customers to 'beta test' them. If I'm going to be a beta tester, I want the item for free, I don't want to pay for a headache.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Easy setup. Up and running within 10 minutes of unboxing.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: A lot of power packed into a small package. Order through newegg, not the manufacturer.
