5 out of 5 eggsGarmin GPS

Pros: Small size, clear screen, clear synthesized voice.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I was lucky enough to catch this one at a good sale price. Product registration allowed me to download a firmware and maps update. Sometimes it doesn't take the best route, but it always gets me where I want to go!
Excellent purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!

Pros: Love this litte gizmo. The touch screen is great. Plenty of options. Easily navigated menus. Even for a smaller screen it is very easy to read. The suction cup mount feels as if I could pull my windshield out with it. Voice commands are clear and audible. Battery life seems good. Tells you to turn early enough that you have a chance to get over for the turn and then reminds you again before telling you to turn. Google maps downloads directly to the device as well. Overall, a great buy, and with a price tag of $100 as well as the free shipping, you can't beat it.

Cons: Doesn't come with a USB to USB mini cable, but I have a couple laying around that came with a camera and a voice recorder that worked just fine. You need the cable to hook up to your computer so you can register your Garmin, as well as to get updates for it. Gives the occaisional wrong turn, but that is the fault of the map and not the fault of the device. Still, overall no reason to downgrade it to 4 eggs.

Other Thoughts: Found out about a cool thing called geocaching because of this device. If you are into a little adventure, check it out. Had I not of purchase this Garmin, I never would have known about it. I have already hit a few sites and am having a blast. I am really glad that I made this purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything I needed.

Pros: Where to start. I like road tripping a lot and I'm always driving in my little car. This thing is great it finds pretty much ANYTHING I need to food, hotels, and even parks. I've been lost a handful of times in downtown St. Louis and this thing got me out every time. The voice directions do their job without being annoying, so far i've noticed they remind you to turn at 0.7mi and 0.2mi then one last time with just saying "turn now" This thing is great and getting it for 99 bucks with free shipping was fantastic.

Cons: The only couple cons I can think of is maps are a little pricey if you ever feel the need to update or travel overseas and need the garmin for that and for some reason in my town it shows 2 walmarts and neither one of them are actually there. We have a walmart, but it doesn't show up on the garmin. . . This is quite weird seeing as it knows where everything else is in every other city.

Other Thoughts: Totally worth the buy. If you don't mind the smaller screen (which is perfect for me) right under 100 bucks you can't go wrong.

3 out of 5 eggsGarmin 250

Pros: It is easy to use and mount to windshield. Very user-friendly

Cons: It has given me wrong directions numerous time. When you arrive at your location, when it does get the directions right, It always says the final destination is on the wrong side.. If it's to the left it says right.. Weird.... It will tell you to take a U-turn when there is no reason to. It will also start recalculating for no reason. It also constantly losing the signal.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this to get around in the new city I moved to, very disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGets me where I need to go.. usually

Pros: Easy to use, understandable voice prompts, touch screen responds pretty well to even light touches, lots of options, keeps track or your current speed and top speed you've traveled, nice interface, customizable car avatars (no biggie), easy update process once you register, light and awesome suction cup. The thing is solid on the wind shield. It's easy to clip in and remove the unit from the bracket unlike some brands like t0mt0m.

Cons: Does not come with a USB A to mini USB cable (unit has mini USB in the back for power and data) so you can update the unit when you first purchase it. Luckily I had a the appropriate USB cable already. Have to register your unit and make an account on Garmin.com before you can download and install the latest map update (if available). Works great in areas that have not changed much in recent years, however if you're in a rapidly developing area your GPS wont reflect these changes until they are recorded into the Garmin database, but this is true about any GPS.

Other Thoughts: Over all good unit. Joy to have and fun to see how high you can make your top speed.

5 out of 5 eggsWifes CoPilot

Pros: PRICE of $100

Cons: Needs satellite feed therefore mounts to winshield. No external antenna interface. Turn down volume and brightness and get used to being told where to drive.

Other Thoughts: Displays MPH so you can calibrate your speedometer.
Don't have to print maps for the wife.
