waterproof
- Pros: Seems ok
- Cons: The battary compartment leaked in salt water and now the thing does not work at all. I suspect Newegg will send me another one and I can evaluate it. Just don't rely only on a gps on your venture.
- Other Thoughts: I never really got the hang of thi unit until it failed. I was on a kakak trip and noticed the battary compartment was very hot. Water had entered. Dried it out and put in new battaries but still no go.
