Pros: This is one awesome GPS. I heard a lot of people online rip this GPS because they say it's hard to use or the text entry is too slow. That's B S and I'll tell you why. I have NEVER even touched a GPS before in my life and I mastered most of the Colorado's features in 1 day. This is a very intuitive device and I plan to used this GPS mostly for my fishing endeavors. I have a website that reviews fishing tackle and equipment and this is going to be an invaluable tool for recording and documenting my fishing spots. This GPS finds its satellites very quickly and is just as handy on the river as it is on the road. There is no difference between this version and the Colorado 400i, 400c, and 400t except for the fact that they have better maps pre installed and more internal memory. You are essentially just paying $100 more for maps, so in my mind it just isn't worth it.
Cons: I do not like the fact that you have to set the back light to the brightness level you want every time you turn on this GPS.
Other Thoughts: The only reason why I bought this GPS is because I didn't have to pay for the maps. If you plan on buying this device you NEED the TOPO 2008 maps among others to get the full functionality of this device. The base map that comes preprogrammed on this GPS is essentially useless for just about everything.
