Great Unit
- Pros: Worked well for me right out of the box. Easy to set up and operate. I got it mostly for pace in formation. I grew tired of my Polar food pod unit that was of questionable accuracy. This does it all in a easy to use package.
- Cons: Battery life. I'm not sure it will last an entire marathon. This is a big possible problem since I bought it to help pace me through a marathon. So far it has worked through 3.5 hours.
- Other Thoughts: Forget the review by the one star guy. I have not seen anyone else have the same problem and it seems that he is just out to try to give Garmin a bad name that they do not deserve. I really think he is fully responsible for whatever problem he had not the Garmin unit.
Awesome!
- Pros: Works great for me and my wife. Tracks everything. Programmable workouts. Lightweight. Can see your path on Google Earth. We love it!
- Cons: Sometimes takes 1-2 minutes to get GPS lock. Not that bad.
- Other Thoughts: I liked the one I got for my wife so much that I bought my own.

Must have
- Pros: Outstanding unit. GPS is very accurate. Software is managed easily and is good for tracking my workouts
- Cons: A bit bulky on my arm but fits wells
- Pros: Easy to use and read display. Its nice uploading data to my computer and keeping up with how I am progressing. Very accurate and useful for setting my pace to stay consistant.
- Cons: It doesn't have a place to plug in my headphones.
- Other Thoughts: Great investment if you plan to exercise on a regular basis. A must for anyone who runs marathons or long distances.
Everything I always needed
- Pros: This device allows me to guage distances exactly. This device allows me to compete agains the best possible competition; myself.
- Cons: The cadence meter for bikes and the foot meter for indoors are sold seperately
- Other Thoughts: This device aids me in my workouts and at work. I was using google maps before to gauge distances for my walks and jogs. It was wrong. After you go through a run once, subsequently you can program it to, step for step, compete against yourself.
