Pros: Its very easy to use. Lane assist is awesome. Whenever I have people in my car they ALWAYS say "I NEED THAT!!" This was well worth the price. I told my stop mom about this and she bought the same one for my dad from Newegg. Amazing product.

Cons: Live Traffic dosn't always work well if the traffic just formed. Thats not enough to justify not buying this.

Pros: When it works it's decent.

Cons: BATTERY! CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Other Thoughts: The battery never held a charge. I had an old Nuvi 350 which this one replaced and the battery was great on that unit. This one stinks and tells me "Battery Low" as soon as the power is lost to the unit. It turns itself off very soon thereafter. VERY UNHAPPY with this unit. Good luck with Garmins service... Its non existent. Terrible product, Terrible company!

Pros: Pretty much all the stated pros are dead on. In addition, the unit has ~2 gigs of free space to load your music/pics/ebooks onto w/o needing a SD card. Plays your music while navigating - it adds the media player icon on your map screen. Plays music then pauses to give directions then plays music again. FM transmitter works great! I run my map, music, and Bluetooth all thru the FM. My batt life has been fine. ~45 mins of navigation w/ music; no prob. Free traffic worked great around the Philly area. Navigation and menus are great and easy to follow. Someone complained about utilizing the widescreen space on the map screen, it does a great job at that. If you actually use the features they appear as icons on the sides of the map screen and don’t interfere with your following of the map/directions. Displays the speed limit for most roads and appears to be correct. It even updates speed changes correctly.

Cons: Someone complained about the menu not having a button to quickly get back to the map screen, and this is true. If you are adding an address to your favorites, there is not a way to get right back to the map w/o hitting back ~7 times or telling it to navigate to the address and then canceling your route. Map screen does not have an arrow pointing north. My old Nuvi360 did and it was a feature I liked/used.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a great product and I'm glad I didn't have to pay full price. If you're looking for a basic gps, save your money and get something else but if you like the bells and whistles, this unit’s for you.

Pros: The lane assist is awesome. As I drove all over Dallas, I knew which side of the highway to be on for each split off or exit. It even showed me how many lanes split each way, so I didn't have to be far left or far right. It was very accurate even in construction and easy to use.

Other Thoughts: We got our first GPS 2 1/2 years ago. It is good, but this one is amazing.

Pros: awesum how it plays mp3 and bluetooths cell and mutes them to give directions

Cons: should come with more internal memory

Pros: Fast GPS fix, great bluetooth support, included traffic.

Cons: Touch screen is the worst I've ever seen. The precision is awful: typing will often hit the key next to your finger. In addition to the precision problem, the touch screen will ALSO register a keypress for a totally different key on the other side of the screen! That's VERY irratating. This results in the following problems:
Hitting the answer button for a phone call will OFTEN click the ignore button instead of anwser!
Typing the unlock pin is hard... you don't know if you hit the correct key because you only see stars (*). The unit will lock itself up if you type the wrong key and you have to reboot it to try again. Finding a POI is hard because it will often select an incorrect item.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could return it and get a Magellan.

Pros: Volume is very good. Like the bluetooth feature where I can call and answer my cell phone through the GPS unit. Nice features. Newegg service was teriffic. I got my unit quicker and with less shipping charges than other places I considered.

Cons: I didn't think my lane assist was working so I called Garmin Support and talked to a tech. She said the lane assist feature only works at about 75 junctions across the U.S. I wish I had known that before I bought the unit. The only reason I bought this unit was for that feature. I can't return the unit because of the limited return policy (which I knew about, but thought I would only need to return it if something was wrong with it, and technically - nothing is wrong - it just doesn't work at the junctions in my area.) I asked for a list of the junctions where it did work and she didn't have that information.

Pros: Feature packed

Cons: Very sluggish performance, random and frequent lock-ups, terribly slow graphics rendering, slow address and POI search.

Other Thoughts: This is an update to my last review. My last 765T was returned (RMA) and Newegg was fantastic in processing my RMA and shipped out a replacement quickly. My only regret was that some issues still remain. The 765T has some major design flaws (see Cons).

I've compared a few routes with some dother display models (1490T) and the 1490T is substantially faster in every way. Inputting address was quick with no noticable lag, graphics rendering was snappy. The 1490T does not have 3D display and neither do none of the models post 765T. This makes me believe that the 3D display could be impacting performance, even though you may disable it.

I'll be selling this unit on Craiglist or online auction and getting the 1490T instead. I'm very impressed with that model. Too bad Newegg.ca doesn't carry it.

Pros: Ordered 2:30 p.m. day before. Needed next day. Paid overnight and rush charges and it arrived in time for trip in my wife's new car! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! Had originally ordered from another vendor and paid rush overnight charges. When I received the e-mail confirmation they said shipping would be overnight, but that it would not ship for a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I'd still be paying the rush charges!!!!!!!!!!!! Well New Egg you sure have won my business and loyalty. The product Garmin 765T is exactly what I wanted, for the same price as the other place, but you had it in stock and shipped it immediately.

Cons: None.
